We have dined in many of the Ivy restaurants: the first Ivy, Covent Garden, Wimbledon, Cobham,, Guildford and have always enjoyed our visit. I have to say I think our experience last night exceeded our expectations and was probably the best we have been to. The staff were superb, especially the head waiter who mixed professional service with a rather cheeky sense of humour.
