Staff are young and so exceptionally polite and helpful, food good quality and appropriately priced. Garden and pub decor tasteful and in keeping with the age of the building. A Monday lunchtime but still busy and overall unfaultable

Really good roast and lovely old pub with friendly staff

We started outside with excellent service & when the rain hit moved inside. The stacked pancakes for dessert were delayed for some reason so we asked for a takeaway box. When the bill came the waitress said they had taken the pancakes off as an apology for the delay & not having them on time, which was a lovely gesture and amazing customer service. We are locals & eat at Bills regularly and little gestures like that mean we will always be back! Thank you to the super waitress who served us on this occasion.
