Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Old Saybrook

Another great meal here, our fourth. There's so many dishes to savor, and everything has been so good that we love trying new things each time. Server Carrie is delightful and professional and knows the menu well and made great suggestions. The CT Style Clam Fritters were light and tasty, as was the Steak Tartare. The Filet au Poivre with the peppercorn sherry sauce was very lovely, and the Bass and Chowder on potato gratin was perfect. After shying away from the Fluffernutter Pot de Creme the previous times we decided to give it a try, and it was really great like all their desserts: delicious and not overly sweet, not too filling, etc. Specialty drinks we had were Emerald Gimlet and the Topaz Manhattan, both were awesome. We will keep returning!

The tasting menu was absolutely fantastic. I was thoroughly impressed not only with the quality and flavor profiles of the menu, but also the wine pairing and unique dishes that were created by the wonderful Chef. The service was also impeccable, a rarity in recent years regardless of how high end the restaurant has been. Kudos! We will be back.

It’s late October so we were a handful of diners there. Lunch was lovely and our party really enjoyed the place. We will definitely add this restaurant to our rotation.
