Went there for the first time yesterday for a quick happy hour and became immediately smitten with everything from the entrance and art down the hallway and stairs, to the hors d'oeuvres, and 5 star customer service for us. Even with a staff change-over, the new bartender came in with such a light and positive attitude and he was just so kind. My friend and I were catching up for quite a while that evening, and although not much of a drinker- I never felt pressured to purchase more than I wanted to from staff and he simply kept my water cup filled. We were not rushed, and were able to just enjoy a very pleasant catch up in a beautiful and intentionally curated space. The evening food looked incredible, there was a private event happening and one wouldnt have even known it, and the dining area is swanky with an intentional ambiance created. 10/10 recommend. Im coming back with friends next week and much more regularly- now knowing about this spot. Please keep up the great work.

It was incredible! First, the views are incredible. It’s why I booked it in the first place but pics don’t do it justice. I was in NYC for my mom’s 62nd birthday and it was her first time in NYC, no one made it special except Manhatta. 4 different people told her Happy Birthday + her name before we even got to the table. They also had a handwritten card for her. Staff was knowledgable & personable. They very clearly love their jobs & the restaurant does not do service, they do better! They show true hospitality.

The ambiance and food is always outstanding. we love to take "newbies" there because they are always shocked and impressed to find such a wonderful experience in a modest space that they walked past but never noticed! Also the staff are always GREAT! and I'm gluten intolerant, and they go the distance to make me small special plates of certain things I want that are modified slightly to be GF. One of our GoTo's!

This is a cozy bistrot-type restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service is courteous and the price/quality ratio excellent. I had their signature seafood Tom Yum Hotpot, which is truly delicious, with a glass of good Loire Sauvignon, and a cocktail which was as good looking as good tasting. I will definitely go back for more!

We absolutely loved Plado! Everything was perfect, service was excellent, so many great items on the menu to choose from, and the atmosphere was charming. We ordered seven tapas - all of which were delicious, especially the flatbreads, salads, pastas, and chicken. I only wish they were not on the LES, because it’s a hike to get there for us!
