Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in South San Francisco

Hurry! Uccello closes every summer for July and August. We love this place. The chef has a Japanese sense of design and texture. The salad is so beautiful and unique with toasted quinoa that I wish I could order two. The tempura prepared endive with chickpeas is one of the most original vegetarian dishes in SF. I am not a vegetarian, but I order this many times. The cheese desert feature finely wheel shaved cheese shaped like a blooming rose. All this, three courses, fixed price of $55!

The Barrel Bistro & Wine Bar was amazing, we got the Gnocchi and the Shepherd's Burger (lamb) and they were both amazing, our cocktails (Southside & Lychee Martini) were also amazing, best Gnocchi I've ever had and I've tried tons it's one of my favorite dishes, the green sauce is so good. The Lychee Martini was also the best my girlfriend's ever had, and she gets those a lot. Super friendly staff too with the correct amount of check-ins in a timely manner, great decor and environment too, a bit crowded because of it's location but not a problem.

Beautiful restaurant! I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday and we all enjoyed our meals. Good Argentinian sausage. Beautiful hot chocolates. Delicious truffle fries. Well-presented affogato. Quirky bathroom wallpaper.

This new restaurant is great! It’s in one of the city’s coolest neighborhoods. We enjoyed the wine, the Caesar salad and both our entrees. I had the Steelhead Trout and appreciated the interesting preparation “Al Pastor” style. I have never seen this in any other restaurant. My husband had the Marina Mix (beer battered Salmon, shrimp and scallops). Great fries. The interior is dark and sexy. Great for a date night.

We enjoyed a 3 course Mother’s Day special menu. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the salad and dessert were equally delicious. We live locally and we enjoy dining at the AC Waterfront. Every time the meal and service have been superb.
