Great food and service once again. We were advised of a small delay on the sourdough starter but we had this comped which was a lovely touch. For my partners birthday there was a lovely complimentary cake which was appreciated.

We revisited for my daughter’s birthday and had a lovely experience from start to finish. We arrived early and our waitress was absolutely wonderful — so attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was lovely, as always, and the service was excellent. We always have the best food here and it never disappoints. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday meal so special!

Service was the outstanding thing about our meal, we were really well looked after, I’d say perfectly. It was quiet as we were early due to attending a show afterwards but I felt like you’d get that same service at 8pm on a Friday night - you could just tell. The food was amazing, we ordered from the à la carte menu, (GFC, egg fried rice and short rib bao a must try). The wine was a little pricey but was excellent, and you’re not coming here for a cheap meal. You do get what you pay for: amazing service, delicious food and great memories to take away

A wonderful experience. Beautiful architecture, attentive staff, and exquisite food. Special mention to the french gentlemen waiter who made us feel very welcome, and provided something is too often overlooked; a genuine friendly smile. Also the two gentlemen staff in reception who engaged with our curiosity in the history of the building.
