Excellent experience. The waiter (unfortunately I didn't ask his name) was attentive without being intrusive. He was able to advise about the wine and food - his recommendations were spot on. Flawless dining experience. The food was excellent - we had the Chateaubriand which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Top marks for this place and I'd recommend it.

Everything about Nouveau is special. Decor, ambiance, food, cocktails and staff. A wonderful little find and so unique. Part of me wants to gatekeep. Just a fabulous experience and can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing afternoon tea in the Merchant to celebrate mums 70th birthday. The servers couldn’t have done more for us and she was utterly surprised by the beautiful truffles brought out as a treat. We were even more surprised and impressed when we got home to an unexpected mini cake that had been placed along side our left over cakes!! Thank you to all the staff and the Merchant for a truly lovely day.
