- FFrankGoldSan Diego •40 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThat was an incredible and memorable meal. Chef Luciano is a gem of a human—he frequented our table to ensure everyone was enjoying their meal, and was wonderful at recommending specific dishes to try and share. Our waitress was lovely too. She was working ALL the tables AND the bar, but still found time to chat and be present with us. The short ribs were the most tender and delicious ones I’ve ever had. The seafood fettuccine was lovely, and the various chefs specials (pasta with smoked salmon and mushrooms in a cream sauce) were well-loved too. The cheesecake, lava cake, and banana cream pie will have you dreaming of their dessert menu for weeks after. To die for. Prices were extremely reasonable and portions were massive. All the pasta dishes were at least 2x the usual restaurant helping and everyone was able to make a second meal out of it. Drinks were excellent too. There’s a nice wine list and some interesting cocktails. All in all, this might be my new favorite restaurant in San Diego. Please stop by and give it a try. Be patient with the occasional delay in service, because the food and people are working hard and worth it!More infoThe Red Door$$$$• Italian• Mission Hills•4.9
- KKimberlyPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful anniversary celebration! The food was fantastic, the nonalcoholic drinks were tasty, and they brought out an ice cream to share with a sparkler in it in celebration of our day. It was very nice, and the service was impeccable! Thank you for a lovely evening!More infoCloak + Petal$$$$• Sushi• Little Italy•4.5

- GGabrielGoldBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Oct 2026Azuki has become one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. The sushi (and all food) is really delicious. I always get the Kama appetizer, garlic edamame, and a couple of the specialty sushi rolls - all of them are amazing! The miso cod entree really surprised me and will become a go-to for my orders. The price for what you get is good value. The staff and service are always kind and thoughtful. If you can make a reservation for the second floor, then it makes for a very lovely, romantic ambiance. Highly recommend!More infoAzuki Sushi Lounge$$$$• Sushi• Banker's Hill•4.8
