Best Family Style Restaurants in Mandeville

There were four of us and it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Food was amazing with a nice variety. The Hot Boudin Dip, Gumbo, Short Ribs, Dumplings, and Sweet Potato Gnocchi were all top notch. Best gumbo we had on our trip! Service was excellent and so was dessert. Prices were very reasonable for such a wonderful meal. Get the cotton candy!

Our server was outstanding and knowledgeable about the menu, even asking about any food allergies. The portion sizes were bountiful and the meat board, fried oysters and dirty rice we had were otherworldly and rustic. Just like Isaac Toups.

The food was absolutely fantastic and our server, Ezgi, was the best! Her descriptions of the food and her knowledge about all things Shaya was most impressive. I definitely will become a regular.

Service was amazing; friendly, attentive servers. Unique dishes based on NOLA culinary influences. The special, lamb albondigas - soft, fluffy meatballs that were delicious. Charming setting in an old cotton mill. And, the chocolate dessert was out of this world. Strongly recommend to those who don’t want the usual NOLA food experience, but a creative interpretation.

The service was excellent . The ambience is modern and comfortable. The presentation of the food was outstanding. This is a great edition to the northshore dinning and lifestyle! ! Oh, and did I mention the passion fruit Pisco Sour! Excelente !
