Best Family Style Restaurants in Downtown / Mill District

Overall fantastic experience. Our waiter was the sweetest and when we didn’t love one of the starters, he took it off our bill (unprompted). Pork chop is huge! And delish! Tri tip was very good but I wasn’t used to the middle being more rare (that’s on me). Hush puppies was very good! Apple butter with the Texas toast was the best I’ve ever had. Salmon was as expected. Did not love the Mac and cheese, a little dry and the meat/cheese combo just didn’t hit. Cucumber salad was good. The lemon dessert was delish! The juneberry spritz was light and barely tasted like alcohol. Overall it was a great dinner when we brought my daughter to U of M for a tour.

Amazing. We tried a little bit of almost everything from the à la carte menu. Everything was very tasty. Servers are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Made a reservation for my group of friends, and this was a great place! We decided to order family style for the table, and just asked for it to come out as it was ready. Wow, what a treat! The people helping us were awesome, every dish we ordered was hot, tasty, and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves so much and asked if they do private parties for the next time we’re going to be in MSP. Can’t wait to go back!
