Visiting New Orleans for the first time with my partner for his birthday. Made reservations at The Pelican Club and was not disappointed! From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted. We had reservations for patio seating and it was lovely. Our server was knowledgeable and quick. The food was absolutely delicious! I can’t go on enough about how fantastic everything we ordered was. We ordered two bottles of wine, red and white, which was recommended by staff and paired well with the food. We started with the bread and Caesar salad to share. The salad was crisp, fresh and dressing top notch! The bread is a must! Warm house made focaccia. My partner order the pork chop, the cleared the plate. The cut was thick and juicy. I ordered the short rib. It fell apart and melts in your mouth, paired with cheese grits, it was phenomenal. Over all experience was amazing and we left feeling very satisfied. The Pelican Club is defiantly a place we plan to dine at again on our next visit and will be recommending to any that travel to New Orleans.

Everything is so good, they make it hard to decide. Both dinners my wife and I had were very good! I had the steak, perfectly cooked. My wife had a lobster risotto. With prices for everything higher these days, some establishments charge more but have average quality. Not at Desi Vega’s. There are quite a few things that are not worth the money these days, Desi Vega’s is definitely worth it. I also asked for something above and beyond and they met my needs. Extremely satisfied and they understand how to treat people so they will have repeat customers.
