The best Italian restaurant I've ever tried outside of Italy (and I tried loads!!) and it's VEGAN and absolutely AMAZING! Every dish was outstanding, both in taste and in the beautiful presentation, and the vibe is super cool. My family who's not vegan couldn't believe it, they loved it so much! Thank you for showing that plant-based cuisine can be so delicious, and that kindness matters in every dish <3

Had a lovely meal. I love Ethiopian food and was delighted to find an Ethiopian restaurant in Edinburgh. Service was excellent - so friendly and personal. Food was delicious, could have done with extra injera though. Vegan platter for two was just about enough - my friend was not very hungry, but otherwise we might have wanted slightly more. But flavour-wise, excellent. Background music was a bit loud but our host willingly turned it down when we asked nicely :). Definitely recommend.

First time at Bucks Bar and will definitely be back. Chicken is beautifully cooked. Portions are big, in fact we could have shared the Alabama Chicken fillets and chips. I managed the 3 big fillets but left most of the chips. Best to book in advance as it's not a big place and several people who turned up on spec had to be turned away. I think it's very good value for money.
