Food and service were excellent. The Tempranillo is one of the better ones I’ve had in London. All of the tapas we had were excellent, particularly the anchovies, potatas bravado, secreto iberico and calamares. The kitchen was a bit slow but we didn’t mind sitting and chatting.

The best thing about Vavi was the level of service - very responsive to an issue we had with one of the dishes, friendly, made us feel very welcome. The most disappointing bit was that several dishes on the menu were not available (chorizo in a tapas bar?) apparently due to imminent menu changes. The dishes we did have were good, particularly the tempura vegetables.
