Nektar provided a beautiful experience. From the ambiance, to great food, to excellent service. Our server José did an excellent job. The band was amazing. Jose and the band helped us with my sister’s birthday celebration. We had an amazing time there. Thank you Jose, we will definitely be back.

I love dining at this place. The gardens and the inside of the restaurant is so charming and the staff are so friendly. The food and the drinks (strawberry margaritas) are outstanding. Make sure to check out the murals outside the restaurant. This is my second time visiting and both experiences were the same. Yes it’s a touristy place but it feels so authentic. I can’t wait to return.

I can absolutely see why Ita by la tienda grande is loved by so many. We finally got to enjoy after so many raves and recommendations and do so with good friends and the entire evening was a delight. Friends, food, drinks, service, ambiance all just lovely. Keep in mind the price range I am noting was starter, soup, entree, dessert, two cocktails, one signature that was fantastic AND a beautiful glass of Syrah with my meal. Beyond a value for the quality of all that was enjoyed!

Beautiful venue. View to the west at sunset is top notch. It wasn’t busy so we had the server’s full attention. She was very personable. We ordered all 3 Volcan starters and 4 other appetizers and made it a tapas night for 4. Everything was excellent.

Amazing experience with excellent service. Cannot beat dinner on the beach with the sound of the waves. It was our anniversary and they made it very special for us. Shout out to our waiter Samuel!

We had the 10-course chef’s tasting menu and it was a lovely experience. A couple of the dishes were more salty than I preferred, but the overall curation was really good. I was having a little trouble finishing dishes toward the end, but I don’t typically eat a lot of food at one sitting. Two of the standout dishes were a seared sea bass item that was bright and fresh and beautifully presented, and the beef dish which was much like a perfectly prepared brisket. Cocktails are world-class and creative, as well. Makal Centro is a beautiful room with clever decor and a warm, quiet atmosphere that is perfect for a long, multi-course dinner. Our server was lovely and friendly and paced our drinks and food very well. Definitely a special-occasion place. Even in low season, everything was perfectly fresh and top-quality.
