Best Steakhouses in Newton under Roseberry

Amazing as always. Staff very attentive. Excellent atmosphere and food outstanding. Our waitress was super helpful

We visited the grill as part of our Fenwicks Xmas window experience. We were accompanied by my 5 month old granddaughter who was in her buggy. The staff were very good at seating us in an appropriate place with the pram and were very attentive. The food was, as usual, delicious. A salmon starter followed by the seafood stew and a burger. We were about to leave when they surprised us with a piece of basque cheesecake (also delicious!) as it was my birthday. I eat either here, or the fish counter quite regularly and it never disappoints.

Great time here on a Tuesday evening. All food delicious and presented so well. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Expectations were high on booking this given the reviews but I am pleased that these were exceeded.

Enjoyed a lunch with friends. We all chose different food and drink options a d all were good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food arrived promptly.

Lovely food and friendly helpful staff. First time in this restaurant but will return if ever we visit Darlington again. Well worth a visit and really good size portions make it excellent value
