One of the best dining experiences I've ever had at a steakhouse. I went ahead and made reservations and requested a window table, so I can have a view of the Old Church Ruins across the street. It was right at sunset so the view was nice. I ordered the Lomita Gran Reserva Escobar. Which was a 14 day dry aged 12 Oz center cut tenderloin. I wanted to have it rare, but the waiter suggested that for this particular steak to order it medium. I took his suggestion and it did not disappoint. The best steak I've ever had in my life! The plate came in a smoked glass dome cover and they removed it after setting it down. Great presentation! I had the extra truffle garlic butter on the side with it. It was so good! The garlic bread and salad were really good as well! I ended up having two Carajillo Escobars! I've of the best Carajillos I've ever had as well. The quality of that Expresso shot they put in there made it! The service was great there. From the hostess, my waiter, and the manager. All were very nice and attentive. It was nice that the manager came to my table to check on me. The entire staff spoke perfect English, so I didn't have to use my Spanglish. I also dined alone. The only thing that would've made it a perfect dinner was if I was able to smoke my cigar here like in Montanos in Guatemala city. I liked my steak here a little bit better. I think they also have a Casa Escobar location in Guatemala city zone 10. I'll definitely be back here in my next visit to Antigua!
