After the disappointment of our lunch being cancelled a few weeks back, we finally found time to come in for the express lunch - & it was very much worth it. We were both so impressed with the quality of the food for the price. Really delicious! And just to add to our enjoyment our wait person Maisie was absolutely delightful - attentive, knowledgeable & a pleasure to deal with. Also a shout out to Kieran who had followed up with me to ensure we rebooked. Thank you to the chef & staff - we’ll be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an absolutely incredible experience! ❤️ We visited to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. A very special thank you to Lorena and Ganeev, who looked after us so beautifully throughout the night. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was perfect. As a Colombian married to an Indian, we absolutely LOVED the fusion of flavours and cultures! The food was simply outstanding, full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and genuinely exceeded our expectations. We were also lucky enough to visit on a Saturday, so we got to enjoy the live music, which made the atmosphere even more magical! We left with full hearts, happy tummies, and the biggest smiles. Everything, from the food and service to the music and atmosphere, was absolutely fantastic. We’re already so excited about the upcoming Diwali celebration! If this experience was anything to go by, we just know it’s going to be spectacular! ✨ Thank you for making such a special occasion even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Absolutely loved our first experience at Bar Mercado! We went for the seven-course menu and every dish was fantastic — amazing flavours, great presentation and such a well-thought-out experience. The service was warm and attentive, and the extra dishes and dessert options were such a lovely touch. Everything genuinely exceeded our expectations. Congratulations to the team on one amazing year! 🎉 You’ve created something really special in the Melbourne CBD. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our experience! The drinks were a little slow to arrive, but the staff were so incredibly kind, warm, and attentive that it more than made up for it. Such a lovely team and a wonderful meal — we’ll definitely be back!
