Our first visit since new ownership took over. What a wonderful transformation— The decor is so comfortable and welcoming and really accentuates the historical features of the building. Service, selection and value were all top notch. Food was good, but a bit under-seasoned. They offer some great theme nights/specials and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I have been eating in the north end my entire life, I have never had a meal this good. The food was so delicious, I woke up the next day and wanted to go back for more. From the minute, you arrive on the sidewalk you feel like family. Everyone there is so incredibly welcoming and kind. The service was above and beyond, I would highly recommend dining here. I can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I had dinner last night the 30th. We were greeted and shown to our seats. Julia was our server. She was very knowledgeable on the spirits and food items. We had calamari and I had a bowl of cream of mushroom soup. Appetizers were excellent. We ordered chicken picata and veal parmesean. Our ENTIRE experience was 10 stars from Julia to our meal. We were never rushed and very much relaxed during our visit. Wrapping this up I am very picky, but can honestly say we enjoyed the entire evening. Best Anniversay dinner ever. (31) years! Thank you! Davios is our favorite Boston restaurant for ambiance and an elegant dining out experience. Good food, great service and interesting taste experiences. We’ve been going here for decades and will continue to enjoy Davios in the Back Bay. They care about each and all of their patrons.

It was the kind of personal experience you can rarely find in your standard North End Italian restaurant. Not only were the food and service outstanding and the ambiance very welcoming but the staff was SO personable that you felt like family there. My second time at La Summa. Definitely a spot to go.
