Best Middle Eastern Restaurants in Lumberville

Emmett is such a warm, inviting, and delicious restaurant! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by this wonderful smoky aroma from one of their smoke-infused dishes, which lingers in the air and makes the whole place feel especially cozy—perfect for a fall or winter evening. Our waiter was absolutely lovely—incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. The food was outstanding! There's a tasting menu option, which we decided to skip, but we watched beautiful dishes coming out of the kitchen, and everyone around us seemed just as delighted as we were. The tuna was exceptional, the pasta was delicious, and the hanger kebab was a standout! The meat was so juicy, flavorful, and tender that it practically melted in our mouths. We were far too full for dessert, but that's just another reason to return! Highly recommend Emmett for a cozy evening and a truly delicious meal!

I have dietary restrictions (no garlic, onion, etc. This being a mediterranean restaurants most items have garlic. After explaining my situation, they were very accommodating. Bronzino with no garlic, special rice, plain salad. The food was delicious and good size portions. My daughter had the braised beef and my husband has the kofte. Family run, warm and welcoming. Do make a reservation as the restaurant is quite small and seating could be limited particularly o the weekends.

We will be sure to stop in here next time we are in East Brunswick. This is great food - seriously, I'm not exaggerating - which we didn't expect to find in this area. We just stumbled over it, were just looking for decent food at a good price near our hotel. What a find! We will be back next time we come down from Boston, which should be no later than Thanksgiving.
