The moment we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by the chef, Luca. We were promptly seated and the waiter, Alex introduced himself and started our fantastic experience. Alex explained the specials. We chose the Alaskan king crab app, the lobster ravioli, homemade rigatoni with braciole and lemoncello cake for dessert. Everything was amazing. Can't wait to come back. We also highly recommend IL Riccio to my friends.

Our first time here, wonderful experience on a quiet night in the off-season. Everything we had was excellent! Very good stuffed grape leaves, nice Greek salad (no lettuce, all cucumbers and olives and other things with a very good slice of feta), sachetti pasta with shrimp, and filet tips over rigatoni. Excellent service from Xhana, who was also the maitre d' this evening, I think she manages the front of the house -- delightful young lady! Very extensive menu and everything sounds delicious, hard to decide what to order -- we will definitely go back soon. Oh and the baclava was the best I've ever had! Ambiance is good, the decor is sort of coastal/Greek island, I think it could be toned down a bit. Music was mix of sort of soft classical and Greek-ish, kind of campy. Anyhow, it was great overall and we're looking forward to returning and trying other things on the menu! (lots of small plates to choose from too)

Have visited Louisa’s for over 40 years … the menu and decor are essentially the same although another room was added a few years ago allowing more people to enjoy this small gem in Cape May. Still love the smoked salmon rillettes, the crab cakes, and the chocolate bread pudding with caramel and sea salt. And yes you can still byob!
