AHHHHMMAAAZZING! From start to finish. The food is sooo special, creative flavors perfectly paired and prepared. Don't leave without trying their pasta or burrata salad w/squash, or the most most most wonderful, warm, melt-in your mouth focaccia. Or the fish of the day. Wish we could have tried everything! And what a show from their kitchen! Sit at the chef's table and watch this team of professionals put out the most delicious and beautiful dishes, in the most perfectly choreographed way. Great service, too, from an experienced team in a great space. Bravo, Chef! To you and your whole team! Can't wait to visit again!

This was my Wife’s and I first time experiencing New Haven Restaurant week and decided to try Il Gabbiano as our first restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the staff were attentive and friendly. The food choices we made were excellent. We will definitely put this restaurant on our repeat list.

We had a fantastic dinner at Consiglio’s in New Haven last night! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the delicious Italian food and attentive service, everything made for a wonderful evening. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy a great meal, and truly appreciate the company you’re with. A real New Haven gem and an easy five stars. We’re already looking forward to going back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

New owners of this former gas station in Indian Neck have done a very nice job upgrading, it after a number of other restaurants have come and gone in the same place. Food was good - no complaints about it. Bread and olive oil on the table were excellent. Noise level was very high. We were there on a Friday night and it was hopping, with a mostly younger crowd. Dress arranged from very casual to date-night dressy. Service was OK but had to ask for simple things like salt and pepper. Would go back.
