Best Italian Restaurants in Concord

Il Capriccio is one of our favorite restaurants in the Boston area. Last night, March 4, it was full (we suspect lots of people were avoiding the circus show on television). Possibly for that reason the service was slower than usual, but no less attentive and courteous. The food, as always, was outstanding.

From the minute we were greeted by the hostess until the minute we left every single thing was excellent . Our server Ani B was prompt , courteous and friendly . We both had the Bolognese, it was excellent . Dessert was something I hadn’t had before Pera Perfetta was delicious . We are already planning our next visit . Five stars .

First time visitors, we were very impressed with the decor of the place-sophisticated and comfortable. Our server was great. We had the shrimp appetizer, my brother had the swordfish special, and I had the chicken Marsala. All were delicious. We decided to get dessert, and the lava cake was excellent. Thanks for a nice experience.

Restaurant week menu. The squash risotto was amazing as was the Caesar salad. I cream was fabulous too. Waitstaff helpful and accounting since one of my friends had a tight schedule.

Excellent experience! It was our first time here. The ambiance, service and food were all very good! We enjoyed crab cakes starter, entrees of filet mignon with the mashed Yukon gold potatoes, halibut with rainbow carrots and dessert of real (no green dye or almond extract overload here) pistachio gelato and after dinner drinks of Salted Caramel Biscotti martini and Chocolate Hazelnut. All delicious and visually pleasing! Will return and keep in mind for a group gathering too.
