Best French Restaurants in Mount Arlington

Excellent service. Nice variety of food choices. Tuna crudo was superb, perfectly seasoned and chilled. The meatball appetizer was as tasty as my Mama's, and that's a high bar to jump. The black ink linguine seafood entre was flavorful and a generous portion. My only complaint is that the pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste. Overall, it was a good experience at a good price. BYOB, good food, excellent service, at a reasonable price makes Laboratorio Kitchen a destination I recommend

This was our first visit to this unassuming restaurant but not our last. From the friendly gal who sat us at our table and recommended certain dishes to the musician who entertained us throughout dinner with her hauntingly beautiful voice to our server who deftly attended to us without being overbearing to the chef and his wife who asked us if we enjoyed the meal on our way out... everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the people part of the dinner elevated our experience. The food itself was inventive and fresh and exquisite. We moved to the Poconos from Washington DC and this restaurant could easily thrive in DC or NYC. It's another level from what we've found in Central PA. It will easily become our new go-to spot, despite being 30 minutes away. The only downside is we have to limit our consumption of delicious wines and cocktails to make the drive home. A+ and five stars!

As always, LaTour meets and exceeds expectations. The foie gras was exceptional. My wife had Dover sole, which she said was spectacular. I had the fried half duck which was cooked to perfection. Then, happily, I overheard somebody ask for the dessert soufflé, which was not on the menu. All I can say is that my wife and I were in heaven while eating eat. Add to the great service and food, the opportunity to talk to master chef Michael LaTour and we had a perfect evening.

I have been going to Scalini Fedeli for over 20 years with a group of friends for our yearly in person get together. It NEVER disappoints. Not only is the food excellent but the service it top notch. Can't recommend Scalini Fedeli in Chatham enough.

We came for our anniversary and were treated wonderfully by Isabelle. Every course was delicious as prepared and presented. We highly recommend this restaurant and will ourselves be returning to try other menu items!
