La Grande Boucherie consistently delivers on every front, and yes, you'll pay for it — but here the price feels earned. Cocktails that were genuinely creative and expertly crafted, the kind that make you slow down and actually taste what's in your glass. A classic French onion soup as it should be - deeply savory, properly gratinéed, and comforting without being heavy. The main courses were also excellent. The ribeye came out perfectly cooked with a beautiful char. The swordfish was also great, hitting that elusive mark of firm yet moist with just the right amount of caramelization. To finish, the crème brûlée was a textbook rendition — silky custard beneath a crackling, golden sugar crust. Highly recommended for a special night out.

Brasserie Cognac has been a favorite of mine for decades! Glad you opened another one near Grand Central Station as I was able to meet a peer who came in from CT easily to have a late lunch… She hadn’t been to BC and loved the gougeres as I like to start all meals with (❤️), and you were most accommodating for her in her food challenges! Ending on profiteroles was a perfect ending before she had to get back on Metro-North Merci
