This is a lovely traditonal pub. Service was fast and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and the portions were just right and everything was cooked perfectly. Presentation was great. Sticky toffee pudding was one of the best I’ve had!

Food was great, staff were attentive, just the right amount, perfect for us. There also was enough staff for everyone to not be waiting too long to be served. The chefs do an amazing job the food was amazing quality, very tasty would definitely go back.

Absolutely outstanding quality of food. Loved every dish we tried. We had 2 types of wings. Both excellent. We had Butter Chicken curry, lasagna, GFC burger with dirty fries and Chicken Caesar salad. We some beers and a bottle of red followed by espresso martinis. The strawberry milkshake was gorgeous. It’s worth having a layover in Heathrow just to come here.

Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.
