Really great afternoon tea, it was a Christmas present from last year. We had a super glass of champagne to start with. They have us a lovely gap just to enjoy the drink and ambience of the restaurant. The selection of sandwiches were nice, there was a lovely sausage roll which was yummy. Great selection of mini cakes and beautiful fresh scones. Very generous jam and clotted cream, we were both well and truly full. The staff were really great plus it was quite quiet so very enjoyable. Thank you.

I stayed at the Hopton Crown to break a long journey home, and booked dinner as a treat. I wasn't disappointed! I had sea bream, served with confit potato and tenderstem broccoli, with a caviare cream sauce. I asked the waitress about the fish (whether it was whole, or filleted), and was happy that it was fillets. Two of them! Perfectly cooked. The confit potato, not an easy thing to cook perfectly, was just that! Keeping it's shape, but soft and creamy. The tenderstem was also perfect, dark and al dente. Absolutely delicious meal! I had a lemon posset afterwards, rich and indulgent, but not too sweet...the perfect dessert to complete the evening. Such a lovely place, with lovely friendly staff...I would definitely stay (and dine!) here again.

Lovely family meal for my birthday. We all ordered different meals and I was having a veggie carvery. Chef notified us when all our meals were ready so I could go and get my carvery and eat at the same time. Excellent variety of vegetables and it was delicious! We all left some food as portions were very generous. Lovely, friendly staff too. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful set 4 course tasting menu with paired wines. Staff extremely polite, friendly and efficient. Food extremely well planned and presented. Ambience would have been improved with some background music. Would highly recommend.

Booked a table for Tuesday 13 October, on 1 October, confirmed it, twice the day before. Arrived at the venue to find our table had been given away. Staff and management were apologetic and a free round given for the inconvenience. Food was great but a little slow arriving, atmosphere was good and drinks were reasonable priced. Overall, other than the booking fiasco, the night was good and the Swans won !!
