I was part of a large group that booked at The Rose and Crown for Melbourne Cup Day and it was a fabulous afternoon. The wait staff were so attentive, the meals were delicious and they had large screens showing the various horse races and Fashions on the Field, a must for the ladies at our table. The wines and champagnes selected to cater for such a large function perfectly matched the meals, flowers on every table were a lovely touch, and the pre-storm breeze helped cool down a muggy afternoon; overall a wonderful venue. Thoroughly recommend The Rose and Crown for work events and large groups of friends.
