Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in West Louisville

River House restaurant is absolutely incredible! I had white fish with couscous and tomato and cucumber salad with balsamic  dressing that was outstanding! My husband had the seafood trio, and said they were some of the best scallops he had ever eaten! Our server, Bree, was delightful in every way! She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and extraordinarily fun. Last, but not least, my husband‘s vanilla ice cream was the real deal, he told me. All their desserts are made in the house so there’s no doubt, my banana bread pudding was amazing! The ambience was beautiful. We sat outside by the river near one of the fire pits! Everything about this experience was perfect and beyond! I highly recommend this place to eat. 

Food was amazing! So many choices. Excellent staff and service. Went on a recommendation, and it was worth it.
