Best Modern Latin American Restaurants in Comfort

One of the best dining experiences of my life, and I don't say that lightly. I came for brunch and went back the very next day for one reason: the Caviar & Tots. Crispy tater tots, crème fraîche, and a generous spoon of caviar — it sounds like a gimmick until it's in front of you, and then it's the thing you're planning your next visit around. The Spam Fried Rice and Omelet was just as good: savory Spam fried rice under a soft, silky French omelet, finished with hollandaise. Rich, comforting, perfectly balanced, and so delicious it's the kind of dish that makes you ask who's in the kitchen. The service was exemplary — attentive, warm, and never rushed. The food was flawless. And the value is almost hard to believe: I don't think a single entrée cleared $35, and most sit well under that. They're now open for dinner and have a new bar, which I didn't get a chance to try — but you should, and tell me how it is. If you're in San Antonio, run, do not pass Go. Blush is at 713 S. A large group went to Four Brothers for one of the river parades. Even with the big crowd and packed house, the service was outstanding. The food and drinks were excellent. Everyone in our group left commenting on how good everything was. I am looking forward to going back on a quieter night soon!

Loved the service and ambiance! There was a wedding party. They had booked a wedding in the outside pavilion area so tables weren’t available, also therefore many of the drinks on the menu were unavailable. The servers offered us a coupon and comped our tab; they were so kind. What a lovely experience. Thank you.
