This was our first-time to Pazzo and it was wonderful. Quite small and cozy. Humble in decor. Good menu which we will return to try...wait what?...yes, we had the goat cheese app off the menu and the arugula salad...both delivered delicious. For the other salad and our entrees we had to go off the special menu...special salad in a balsamic vinegarette , gnocchi for one entrees and duck for the other. Both outstanding. The gnocchi themselves were well made; the dish had pancetta and we don't do pig. We tried to get an alternative presentation but something was lost in the translation with the server and we just pressed on with as prepared minus pancetta. We both look forward to enjoying the gnocchi again with a different presentation. The duck breast was a homerun as well. Wife's bday...she had a glass of Pinot Noir she loved and it must have been great because the nose was outstanding. I had a non-alcoholic aperol spritzer that was great. We were in a bit of a rush as we had tickets to a concert at the Majestic, so our next visit we will take our time. Owner was welcoming and accommodating as was our waitress. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating to others. Place was full by 6:15 on Friday...we know why...little treasure in that part of town and for all in town. Definitely a romantic little spot one can count on for quality, service, conversational environment. Way to easily support a local small business when it is this good. Really looking forward to exploring the menu...almost forgot to mention they offer petit portions for small appetites and curious pallets...smart. Overall, well worth your time, money and drive if you are in another part of town. Cannot say enough good things, but I will stop here. Blessings to Pazzo and the people of Pazzo!!! Really well done! Thank you very much!

One of the best dining experiences of my life, and I don't say that lightly. I came for brunch and went back the very next day for one reason: the Caviar & Tots. Crispy tater tots, crème fraîche, and a generous spoon of caviar — it sounds like a gimmick until it's in front of you, and then it's the thing you're planning your next visit around. The Spam Fried Rice and Omelet was just as good: savory Spam fried rice under a soft, silky French omelet, finished with hollandaise. Rich, comforting, perfectly balanced, and so delicious it's the kind of dish that makes you ask who's in the kitchen. The service was exemplary — attentive, warm, and never rushed. The food was flawless. And the value is almost hard to believe: I don't think a single entrée cleared $35, and most sit well under that. They're now open for dinner and have a new bar, which I didn't get a chance to try — but you should, and tell me how it is. If you're in San Antonio, run, do not pass Go. Blush is at 713 S. Alamo St. in Southtown. Go hungry.
