Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Royal Oaks

We had reservations for a business dinner at Lombardi's and when we arrived were immediately seated. Shawn was our server and did an excellent job. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious. An overall great experience.

Il Bracco was such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the intimate yet fun atmosphere made it the perfect place for a night out. The service was truly amazing—everyone was attentive, welcoming, and made the entire experience feel special. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, everything was wonderful. The lasagna was exceptional. I would absolutely recommend Il Bracco to anyone traveling to Houston—it’s definitely worth a visit!

Great food and reasonable prices. The noise level was a bit loud but other than that dinner was great. Will definitely be back!

First visit and we were very impressed. We used to go when it was the Tasting Room and the space has been beautifully transformed. The layout is very nice with tables and booths in several different sections and the restaurant is attractive and spotless. The food was excellent. I had the vegetable salad with steak and it was delicious with the steak cooked just as requested. My husband had the Sunday lasagna and it was very good as well. The only let down was the vanilla ice cream which was not the best. Service was very good with others bringing the meal items if our waitress was busy. We went early to enjoy some wine before dinner. We will be back and highly recommend. The outside looks very nice when the weather cools.

Hidden gem in Spring Branch! DAO’N was fantastic and we can’t wait to go back! The fish roe & avocado with rice was delicious. Kimchi arancini and the katsu balls were another favorite. 10/10
