Best Contemporary Asian Restaurants in Roscoe Village

We like to go here before a show at Steppenwolf, and I often get one of the ramen bowls. This time my friend and I shared a salad, and each had two items off the happy hour menu. It's great and a lot of food - we each took some of our tasty chicken nuggets home. I like how lively it can be - started out slow at 5:30 but gradually filled up.

Perilla is my favorite restaurant! From the staff, to the food, to the ambience, it’s such a great place to take friends or have an intimate date night. Perilla will always have such a special place in my heart. Would absolutely recommend. 10/10

Jared tended to every one of our needs the second we walked in through the door. I wish I could remember the name of our gorgeous waitress but she was absolutely phenomenal. I have no words to describe every single dish we had but everything was overly outstanding. Every single plate was uniquely crafted to please our taste buds. As a very picky eater, I have nothing to complain (shocking). Sunda, you did it again, AMAZING!

Excellent service and she gave us great recommendations for food, appetizers, drinks, etc. They were very attentive constantly refreshing our water, asking if we wanted another cocktail, removing empty plates, etc while also being patient in not rushing us in anyway to order and/ or leave the restaurant post eating.

Really delicious. Interesting flavors and far better than the typical Thai restaurant. A true home cooked meal.
