Denver Beer Co. - South Downing is your new neighborhood hub in Denver's Rosedale area. More than just a brewery, it’s a lively community space where friends gather, laughter abounds, and great food and craft beer unite. As you enter, you'll find a spacious taproom filled with natural light and cozy decor. The large patio invites you to enjoy the Colorado sunshine with a cold brew and a game of cornhole. The experience continues with DBC Eats, a full-service restaurant led by Chef Jeffrey Webb. Here, elevated comfort food meets innovative dishes that pair perfectly with the brewery's diverse beer selection. From juicy IPAs and crisp lagers to seasonal and experimental brews, there’s something for everyone. Savor delicious options like the French Dip, DBC Cubano, or Smoked Brisket Street Tacos. Whether you're catching up with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Denver Beer Co. - South Downing is the perfect spot.

Nice new space in Lowery, I took my family for night out to enjoy some easy dinner and the park connected to the space. The staff was warm and welcoming, beer was good and the food was surprising good, especially considering it’s a brewery first. The vibe was nice, although the garage doors to the outside were closed, seemed odd for a night in the high 70’s. The park next to brewery is a great, modern space where kids can roam freely. Huge plus. The negative: although the food was pretty good I was a bit thrown by the price of one particular item. My daughter loves Mac and Cheese and we didn’t even bother to look at the cost, because it’s Mac and Cheese… it was $9.95. Seems a bit absurd, especially considering the “family friendly” vibe. It was a cup of creamy, long elbows. It tasted fine but it was far from gourmet. And again, it was cup, not a bowl. The margins have to be insane for this item and I’m just scratching my head on this one. Why gouge the Mac? Parents will stay and drink if you make it easy, nearly $10 pasta and cheese is not easy. Overall, good experience and I’d recommend it. Bring the kids and enjoy the nice open spaces. However, if you are on a budget, like most people right now, bring food for your kid and grab another beer.
