I say “surprisingly” because two of us are South Carolinians and the local recommended Virgil’s. We were skeptical but absolutely loved it down to the Carolina Gold sauce! We were able to get the preferred seating specified on the reservations in a timely fashion - which is HUGE on a Friday night! Also, the kitchen accommodated my gluten allergy.
