Best American Restaurants in Talahi Island

We had an amazing dinner with the perfect cocktails to go along with it. Our server, Chase was great.

Food was delicious, we had been told that it was complete southern cooking, they were totally right. i had the ribs that were melt in your mouth and fell right off the bone, mash potatoes were super creamy and buttery, the greens were perfect. my grandson had the steak frite, it was perfect fries just right crisp on outside fluffy in the inside steak cooked to his specifications. My daughter had the fried chicken with pecan glaze it was soooo juicy mashed sweet potatoes . Nothing to complaint or critique everything was great!!! So enjoyable service, food, ambiance 100% unfortunately we were unable to have dessert they didnt make creme brule that day, ok I’ll have to lower my rating to a 98%.

First time in Savannah and Vic’s on the River did not disappoint. We had the fried green tomatoes and the crawfish beignets and for main the scallops and salmon fillet. All dishes were delicious and our server was very attentive. Great job overall!!!

Wonderful in every way! Service was impeccable with everyone being very kind and attentive. We started with wonderful cocktails. Don’t miss the bone marrow washed bourbon, it’s velvety and exquisite! The appetizer of blue crab deviled eggs was a delicious choice out of many to choose from, and we look forward to trying them all! My husband had the smash-burger, which was perfection and oh those amazing fries!!! But what stole the show was the southern schnitzel! This is everything comfort food should be. From the perfect crust on the chicken, to the red cabbage sauerkraut, to the bed of creamy spatzle, to hands down the best collard greens in Savannah (I’m a local, so don’t question me on that, lol!), this is THE dish that will make you want to book your next reservation before you’ve even finished your meal.
