Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Dundalk

We had an amazing afternoon tea in the Merchant to celebrate mums 70th birthday. The servers couldn’t have done more for us and she was utterly surprised by the beautiful truffles brought out as a treat. We were even more surprised and impressed when we got home to an unexpected mini cake that had been placed along side our left over cakes!! Thank you to all the staff and the Merchant for a truly lovely day.

A truly wonderful afternoon tea experience at The Shelbourne with Crystal. The selection of unlimited sandwiches was fantastic, and the desserts were absolutely amazing, with something to satisfy every sweet tooth. I opted for an Americano rather than tea, and it was a lovely alternative. The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special. They went out of their way to help us celebrate a special birthday, which made the afternoon all the more memorable. A beautiful setting, delicious food, and outstanding service. A perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful dining experience at La La recently. I ordered the cod and chips, which was cooked to absolute perfection—crispy, golden batter on the outside and wonderfully flaky fish inside, served alongside lovely chunky, home-cooked chips, classic mushy peas, and a fantastic, fresh tartar sauce. To finish, I had a generous slice of lemon meringue pie paired with a hot cappuccino in my favourite mug thanks Amanda! I would like to give a special shout-out to Amanda & all the staff who always give a wonderful attentive service and to the owner, who clearly takes immense pride in creating a welcoming, top-notch atmosphere. The food is delicious. Thanks Guys
