Zizzi - West End Wigmore Street
Good Afternoon, the service at this zizzis was appauling; they sat us down and didn't serve for ages then delivered the main without removing the starters and did not offer parmasan for the pasta. They then forgot about desserts and we had ordered 1 of the set menus. Needs a better operation and training on serving customers.
Our table booking hadn’t been logged by the restaurant so we waited 25 mins to be seated, and then 45 mins after our order for the food to arrive
Service was slow and the waiters were roaming around without doing much.

We were in London just before Christmas with our two children (9 & 7) and decided at the last minute to have dinner before catching a train home. I looked at Opentable and found Zizzi nearby on Wigmore Street. I made a booking and we headed over. We often eat at Zizzi in Henley so we knew the kids would enjoy the food. I prefer the Zizzi in Henley, but the one in Wigmore Street is great for a family meal.
I've been to this Zizzi a couple of times and unfortunately every time I have been I have always left disappointed and yet I keep returning due to its location which is conveniently located around the corner from my office.
The main issues I have with this venue, is that the service is incredibly slow, if you're attempting to dine within your one hour lunch break always give about half an hour extra. I had booked a 12.30pm slot to avoid the rush as I was hoping service would be slightly quicker. We were the only party when we arrived at 12.30pm, yet our food was delayed and we had to chase the waitress to find out what the delay was.
When my mains came, unfortunately the pasta was so overcooked that it was actually mushy and I left half of it uneaten.
The positives of this venue, is that the décor is lovely and the staff is friendly. But the food and time waiting for it is just below average standards. I'm really hoping that they can improve on this.
When i came they said the booking is not on the system
Food was good but service slow and we had to attract the waiter to order food and drinks. We were ignored a few times when we obviously needed service.
I booked a table for 5 persons and when I arrived they gave me for 4 persons

The service was really slow and the team seemed disorganised. We’ve had to wait and some items where missing. When we asked we’ve been given a new dish which was not our order and had to pay for it. Nice location though but service really has to be improved
Though we were seated in the downstairs portion of the restaurant, we soon forgot our desire for a street view table, and enjoyed the ambience and good service. The overall experience was good, food portions were good, though the food itself is nothing outstanding. I would rate it as comfort food, and would go back for more. We had a table of 10.
Waiting staff were incredibly rude! Only one other party on the entire ground floor, long before closing and they clearly wanted us out ... will not return.

It took 2 hours for us to start and finish our lunch
Our table wasn't ready and we had to stand in the cold with a small child, then they let us in but there was still no where to stand and other customers were very annoyed by us.
My friend and I took our daughters to London for the day and we came to Zizzis for lunch. The staff was so friendly and obviously they were very busy. thoroughly enjoyed the food too
The waitress we had was lovely :) Nice to be able to sit out on the pavement in the sun.
Staff couldn't do enough for me as I was on crutches.

Although attentive staff, food was very mediocre and disappointing.
Not been for ages and now I know why. Service was poor, food was good but nothing special. Just a typical chain really. In out and no messing about.
I met a friend for a quick bite before a BBC lunch-time concert in the Wigmore Hall. We had a sharing platter, one of several on the menu, which was delicious and tasty. Service was pleasant, speedy and unobtrusive. I shall certainly return for all such similar occasions, and recommend to others.
Enjoyable meal, food lovely.
We have been here before and it always gives good value for money. Nice service. Quick serving of food and Wine. Marylebone is also a small community which is nice to visit. Some good restaurants and shops.

Portion sizes were very poor, £11 for a salad which was over in 8 mouthfuls, one of the mains came out after everyone else had finished

We had an enjoyable meal at Zizzis. The menu is varied with something to appeal to most people. Pizzas are fine and our salads were crisp and fresh. The sundaes were indulgent and the coffee was hot and full of flavour. Our waiter could not have been more helpful:- always about but never intrusive.
Great quality Pizza's and a really good atmosphere. Whilst extremely busy service was very good.
You can't go wrong with Zizzi's - great food, affordable and pleasant.
Typical Zizzi's affair. All very nice and waitress was very attentive.
Reasonably good quality/ value meal pre concert or post shopping. We ate at 6 pm on Thursday before a concert. - restaurant almost full and service rather slow, but food good for prices

Booked this Zizzi as an easy post work dinner with some friends visiting London. Was by no means full but service was atrociously slow, and dishes either brought in error or forgotten about. Pizza I chose was dreadful - lots of base, hardly any topping. Won't be going back again.

I ordered a spaghetti my friend a linguini dish. When served, they'd mixed up the pasta with the wrong sauces. We were offered to change to our order so gratefully accepted.

We went as a group and the pizza arrived quite swiftly, the bases were thin and crusty and the toppings were really nice. The dough lacked a bit of salt but apart from that the meal was lovely. Zizzi is always a good choice for pizza!
Booked the table, but still had to waited for 30 mins. Then the rude waitress told us there is no table available since they are super busy and left us with no attention whatsoever. Didn't even get to eat. Left not happy
Was really disappointed with the service we received on the 9th March. i'd pre-booked a table for 9 persons including children and we were all really looking forwrad to our lunch. We were shocked we had to wait an hour for our starters and then when it was finally served the chicken was dry and the food wasnt even hot. Then the main course arrived and one of the groups order was missed off!
Such a shame as we pre-booked and picked a great location.
I booked Zizzi for my sister's hen do dinner to kick the night off and all I can say is that we were massively let down from the start
Firstly they did not have us booked in for the correct time (luckily i had the booking confirmation on me), then we had a waiter who could not have been slower or leass attentive if he tried - in fact it seemed like he was trying to do all he could not to serve us!
They never came to check on us or see if we wanted more - we had to go to him!
The food was horrific - so bad tasing in fact we left a most of it - no taste and not everything on the menu was available.
Their loss as we will never go again and also we woudl have spent a lot more on drinks if they had come around to take orders!
