Everything we ordered was great. Wonderful Japanese spot

Went out for valentines. It took almost 2 1/2 hours to get all our food. We got a multi-course menu, but some courses had 30 minutes or more between. It took so long. I ordered a beer, and 30 minutes later, still waiting for the next course, the waiter dumped one in my glass and said ‘not sure if you ordered this, but take it’ somewhat rudely. As a 200$ meal for two and a special occasion, disappointed. We left more than 3 hours after arriving...

I understand that it was Valentine’s Day but our waitress was awful. She barely checked up on us and waited over 20 minutes to take our order. She never let us know that the rolls were going to take over an hour to come out and we found out when we overheard her talking to another waitress. Other employees were checking up on their tables and offering free appetizers to compensate for the wait but we were never offered the same treatment. She did not even give us our food and had other people run it for her. We ended up paying for the food we already ate and left before the rolls came out. We probably saw her twice throughout the 2 hours we were there.

It was my birthday dinner, I somehow accidentally cancelled my reservation but the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. He made my birthday extra special. The food was great, drinks were awesome! Excellent experience! Highly recommended.

Wonderful food, service and space! We had pork dumplings, a sushi roll that was a special for the evening, and the new york strip. All fantastic.

It was our first indoor dining since March 2020. Everything was perfect and ran smoothly. The dishes and sake were delicious and fresh and we kept ordering more! What I wonderful way to experience our first indoor eating adventure. Thank you! We will be back.

This is a wonderful place. We highly recommend the chef's tasting menu. Like most, we fall into a pattern at Japanese restaurants in what we order. The tasting menu gave the chef free rein and his preparations were delightful and different.

It is always solid and delicious. It has been one of the best Japanese restaurants in Philadelphia for over 10 years.

Unique Maki rolls that you'll love trying. The Miso soup was definitely an upgrade as well. A few reasonably priced wines and an outdoor fall day made for a great lunch.

Excellent sushi. Innovative presentation.

Mediocre accross the board. Fried chicken dumplings were dry and overcooked. Pork dumplings were also uninteresting and over-cooked. My rainbow roll was the most mediocre roll I've eaten anywhere. The tuna tartare was ok but the rest of the meal was overpriced and uninteresting.

Great place to catch up and just talk. Service was great and we weren’t rushed. Food was great and service was even better. Will definitely be back.

Sushi orders should be split up on different plates because of covid. Not served family style. This is now twice that I had to remove all my sushi order and add to a separate plate after it was served. Please make this change. Thanks

One of our favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. Great outdoor seating setup, staff is super courteous and careful about safety rules. FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. This was our first outdoor dining dates since the pandemic and can't wait to go back again soon.
