Yorgos Restaurant & Lounge
Great atmosphere, outdoor dining in the globe was great!!!!
I wanted to patronize the local establishments that remained opened during the absurd mandate. I applaud you and having been in the restaurant industry for 2 decades, I would certainly have followed suit!
We usually hang out downstairs, but was pleasantly surprised with the casual ambiance upstairs. the food was exceptional and the service was very pleasing. I loved the Greek special while my wife enjoyed the crab cakes.....see you in about 2-3 weeks!
Amazing food and personable servers. Went above and beyond for my fiance's birthday. Had a little card and dessert on the house.
The kitchen was very backed up, so our order took overly long. We were charged for pita bread when we asked for something while we were waiting, and didn't realize there would be an upcharge. The chicken artichoke dish was overdone, the grits were underdone and the garlic mashed potatoes were cold. Our waitress apologized several times. The lamb dish was delicious.
Good place, has 3 floors to explore. Would go again and recommend 👌
Me and my Lady friend have been there a number of times and we love it. The owners are very friendly. The waiters and waitresses are very professional. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. We sat on 3rd floor outside was very nice. I'm sure it will be a regular place.
fabulous food; nice complementary glass of champagne when they learned we were celebrating out anniversary!
Celebrated my birthday at Yorgos, and the food was amazing. I had halibut with roasted veggies, and my friends had lamb with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus and another friend panseared scallops and sides. Yum!
So much street noise, tables so close together, food was not good. And so dark after 7pm could barely see the food on our plates
The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Can not wait to return.
Very loud patrons repeatedly dropping the F bomb, not what i want when I am dining.
Had a reservation and when we arrived we were asked which floor we wanted to sit and inside or outside. We said 2nd floor and inside and we were taken outside instead. :(.
Enjoyed the food and drink. It’s a good place to grab a bite.
Tried this restaurant for the first time as I was looking for authentic Greek food. The menu has a great mix of all kinds of offerings. The soup was amazing. Portions were large and I think the price was reasonable. Good find, would recommend hands down
Great spot awesome service
Food was wonderful, just what we needed for a birthday!
Lovely dinner excellent service. Very quiet while we were there ... busier when we were departing. Saganaki was delicious!!!
David our waiter was the best great food very reasonable price
I surprised my husband by going to Yorgos for an anniversary dinner, we had the entire upstairs to ourselves, there was seating outside, but we decided to stay in. Our waiter/bartender was phenomenal and did not rush us a bit. We had excellent drinks, a caesar salad, I had the special Chilean sea bass and my husband had the special seafood, which consisted of lobster, shrimp and crab legs. Everything was amazing and trust me, we are foodies. One of our favorite places and highly recommend for a fabulous dinner.
Authentic Greek food. Large menu. Great value. Delicious. Friendly. Great service. A must eat place in downtown Lancaster.
Trying to find a place for breakfast on a Sunday in the time of COVID can be difficult. We didn't make reservations at the many choices in downtown Lancaster. We found Yorgos on OpenTable, reviewed their breakfast selection and made a reservation at 11:00 am. I even went to their website to make sure they had breakfast and there were no notes otherwise.
However, when we arrived, the breakfast "served until 1:00 pm" was not to be. Only the Western Omelet was their breakfast offering. We both ordered the omelet and it definitely satisfied our breakfast cravings. It would have been nice to have known via their website or OpenTable listing being updated. But the waitress was really nice and we were well taken care of. I really want to try their breakfast when this is over.....
The food was
They were closed when we got there!
Portions were generous..plating/presentation was great.
Server was friendly but was on a part of the deck that was not sunny and that was a bummer. Drinks were expensive...Mac and cheese tasted like weird Alfredo but the spanakopita was amazing as always!
What an amazing evening at Yorgos! The food was incredibly delicious with wonderful choices on the menu. We selected the moussaka and the sea bass Mediterranean and loved both dishes. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and well acquainted with the menu. As we were finishing our meal, we were asking ourselves why we had not been there before. So many missed opportunities. We will be back!
Very nice family dinner.
Wonderful food, great service. It was a cold evening, we were seated downstairs where the constant blast of cold from the front door was beyond annoying.
We were moved to the second floor dining room which was a very nice atmosphere. Lower priced options in addition to top of the line entrees. We could all find something appealing. There was a young man who was playing the saxophone and took anything by request. He was AWESOME and really set a fun atmosphere for our evening
Excellent!! We will be back. Only suggestion is for Sunday brunch maybe lower radio little.
Food was excellent, service was top notch, the experience was great. Highly recommend for pre- theater dinner or an evening out.
Average American/Greek lunch menu in a bar/pub setting downtown. Service was good, although the waitress didn’t really seem to know much about the menu options. Salads were fresh. Gyro and souvlakia meat was overcooked, dry and likely frozen.
Exceptional Greek cuisine with great ambiance and sensational service from Gary.
Very pleased with the quick seating, service and allergy friendly accommodations.
This is the second time we’ve been here. We love it and will be back!
This was our first BUT not last visit to Yorgos Restaurant. We got there early for our reservation but were seated anyway on a Friday night. The food was excellent. If you are looking for something different or crave real Greek food made on premises I highly recommend this establishment. Everything about our visit was perfect from the greeter who asked what kind of atmosphere we would like to eat in, the first floor area where there is a bar and more noisy or the second floor where it is more quiet and intimate. NOTE there is an elevator for those who need to use one. We chose the second floor and were not disappointed. Our waiter was very attentive and not overbearing. He explained some of the dishes but did not recommend anything. There is a bar on the second floor as well but for people who want a quieter place to meet over a few drinks or wait for a table. Even the bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
I give this place a 5 on stars and will return.
Better as a bar - food was good - not exceptional but ok. Drinks were good. Server was excellent - will return
Really liked it there. Menu has lots of options from sandwiches to nice steak dinners. My wife likes the Greek options.
Very friendly staff and such a perfect place to dine prior to going to the Fulton for a show.
Yorgos is a great place to have a good meal and a few drinks with friends. I can only speak about the street level restaurant/bar but I know there are other finer dining opportunities upstairs. I highly recommend Yorgos!
