Sesame prawn toast
Wagyu beef puff
Szechuan tenderloin beef, cumin spiced lamb, chicken and Chinese chive, mushroom and bamboo pith, pork and prawn, seafood and spinach, truffled sweet potato
Definitely worth the money, the service was great aswell as the food ,the waiters were polite and attentive .the food was delicious and very filling 10/10 from me !
Very poor experience. Disrespectful staff who don’t know how to
Conduct themselves professionally.
Best dim sum in London so far - having a cocktail or two or wine will rack up the bill but the food was spot on. Venison puffs, char siu pau, har gow, cheung fan- fabulous!
My husband & I lived in Hong Kong for 8 years and having just returned to London, we were delighted to find a great restaurant where we can enjoy our yum cha!
It is a great restaurant although drinks are too expensive ( £11 per a glass of prosecco...)
As always, great food and attentive service. Masks mean that trey should turn down the volume on the music a couple of notches...
Noisy, poor service. There was a big bustle of people outside because of the COVID "precautions", which were badly communicated, so lots of people were crowding the entrance, trying to find out what was going on.
Had to wait ages for drink orders. Tried a bottle of wine instead, but they took it away and then forgot to come back to refill us until we asked.
The music is loud and let's just say: not to everyone's taste.
Food is good though. But not good enough to make up for the rest of the experience.
Not worth the visit. Definitely not worth the price.
Great place, great food but quite pricey! 2 people, no alcohol, >£100.
Good for special occasions or the rich!
Loved the food
The service was a little slow. We waited over 45 mins to receive our mains. The waitress did apologise before we could ask, so at least that was recognised it was running behind.
Otherwise, food was lovely. We had The Taste of Yauatcha set menu which was good value for money
Very good food, higher end prices, good service
Lovely staff, socially distanced, highly recommend the Discovery menu SO much food so bring your appetite!
All great as usual, but Duck rolls - go back to old format as they are not as good anymore
Food ok. But not a place you want to go to again . Too noisy . Tables too close - ridiculous in these times that they couldn't be bothered with screens etc...even high street restaurants are better equipped.
They have not moved a single table to ensure distancing.
Menus are non descriptive and my wife was served a vegetarian ingredient which she just couldn't bear the taste and aftertaste of.
And we went there for a celebration.
Do not reccomend to anyone

Amazing food, great service and energetic atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
The food was absolutely exquisite, I never thought I’d react to food as I did, it’s Devine, especially the truffle and edamame dumplings, incredible flavours.
Although, the service wasn’t very good, the waiters where very quiet considering the room was quiet and there weren’t many people (we had an early dinner early, it livened up after a while) but the waiters where a bit quiet and awkward like they where new. Although overall I really enjoyed it, especially the ambiance and the style of the restaurant.

Outstanding food as always and excellent service. The QR Code set up worked really well. Can't wait to come back again!
Food is lovely but very pricey and it took a while to get the waiter's attention for service and the bill.
lovely place and the food was quality it’s a shame the set menu was deceiving thinking you could choose what you want, but most of the item options had an additional charge so what’s the point of having a set menu.
Fantastic dinner! Birthday celebrations
Wonderful to be eating out !
Yauatcha has successfully maintained its high standards since first opening. The venison puffs are still as good as they ever were, the basement dining room is a great design that has stood the test of time and the service is always first class.
It was good to go see it operational again.
As a non fish eater this was a great choice in restaurant!
I had the half a crispy duck (to share) and it went down a dream!
We also shared the stir fried beef which was very tender.
I would recommend this place 100% for a special occasion as it is a little pricey...
I’ve been here for years. This was the first time I returned post lockdown. Unfortunately the food quality was so average I am not surprised the restaurant has been stripped of its Michelin star. The char Siu in the cheung fun was clearly not fresh - it was verging slimy. The scallops in the dumplings were frozen scallops not fresh and my favourite cocktail Lalu was so weak I should have ordered a mocktail. Never again. Better off going to Hakkasan Mayfair - hope that place has maintained its standards. There’s always Imperial Treasure and Kai.
We love the food at Yauatcha. A bit disappointed that they had no crispy duck on the day and I thought with a digital menu this should be marked upfront on the menu. Otherwise great food and sake.
We were highly disappointed with the service and food last night. The waiter did not explain any of the dishes and treated us like numbers instead of people. I know that social distancing measure make ordering on one’s phone a bit odd, but it’s the waiter’s job to help and advise, not just stand there and repeat what we say. He made it more confusing and awkward.
The dumplings were good but the rest of the food was sub par, not worth the money in our opinion. They also had no duck, which was a major disappointment as this is one of the key reasons we wanted to come to eat here. How can you not have duck on a Monday night? Bizarre.
We will be dining elsewhere in the future.
Great food and great value for London
At the time of booking (half an hour prior to the booking time) there was the option to book either bar or table seating.
We thought that the ambience might be better at the bar, but when we arrived there were few people at the restaurants we thought it may be nicer to sit at a table.
We asked to change and the staff would not accommodate us saying we had to stick to our original reservation. This seems non sensical given how few people were at the restaurant. The service was stand offish and aloof.
The food is amazing and the venue very great; But we were kindly asked to wait, 20 minutes..., for our table to be ready in the bar area full of people without any safe distanciation respect. This is not really not what we expect when we attend to this kind of restaurant. I also asked to be seated upstair when I booked but I was seated downstair without any explainaition or apologise.
Really disappointing experience. We had gone for a late lunch. Service was terrible. It took a long time to attract the attention of a waiter, and after that we still had to ask for things 2 or 3 times before they arrived. The food was extremely average; not what I would expect from the Hakkasan group. Extremely overpriced for what it was. We ordered a range of dim sum, noodles, ribs, lamb, vegetables - every dish similar to a high street Chinese takeaway. Definitely not worth the £300 at the end. Would not recommend to anyone for any occasion.
They put prices up and portions are a bit smaller
Always a good choice in Soho. Going with friends enjoying the food specially the duck.
Good food great service
The customer service and food was amazing
The ambience was really nice as well
It’s okay, quality of food ok , not to good to go back again soon.
Price are quite expensive.
Dim sums were excellent. Main wok meals fine but no different to any other decent Chinese restaurant really. Overall a very pleasant evening
I have been dreaming about going back to Yauatcha for their amazing food through lockdown, it didn't disappoint. Just love this place, the food is amazing, service was fabulous and we will continue to keep going back.
The food is fine. The service is only few acceptable.
On arrival we are seated outside without being asked our preference if we wanted to sit outdoors or indoors. Later when I approached a member a staff asking if it was okay to be moved indoor, the situation was handled well and the staff were more than happy to fulfil our request.
As for the food the dim sum were okay, nothing amazing. The main course stir fry dish was disappointing. We also had quarter duck with pancakes which was good. We had the harmony selection off the menu which I believe is good value for money considering you get a selection of two dim sums, appetiser, main course and desert. Overall, I was more impressed with the cocktails than the food, maybe my expectations for this place were quite high as having heard a lot of good things about it.
The place looks stunning but the food was sadly bog standard Chinese. I went on a recommendation and was sorely disappointed
