WP24 by Wolfgang Puck
What Insiders Are Saying
Formal Chinese food with a spectacular view.
Unbelievably worn out for being recently open, the staff was unprofessional and not friendly. No customer service skills at all.
Food was just OK, mostly greasy and flavorless.
Surprising that Wolfgang Puck would put his name on something like this. Very much unlike his standards and what you would expect to see in celebrity chefs restaurant.
Mr. Puck, if you are reading this, stop by for lunch or dinner one day
Will definitely come back
This was a nice evening but we thought there would be outside space and expected to be dining outside. To us a rooftop restaurant is open and we didn’t know that this was not like that. Once we got over that disappointment, we had a lovely evening and food was fantastic.
Food and service were good, but I felt it was over priced. Our waiter was not as personable as I had expected, especially since it was our first time at the restaurant. View was great. I would recommend going for drinks and small plates in the lounge.
Awesome view, great service, and delicious food! We ordered the bao buns, noodles, pork rice, the short ribs and halibut. All were excellent choices! This was our 2nd visit before going to a concert at Staples.
The food was extremely delicious. Expensive but VERY good. It was our 37th wedding anniversary dinner.
Pre concert dinner. We were sat in adjacent room, at the back of the room. The main dining area, with nice views and available seating, remained virtually empty during our early seating meal.
One of the best Modernized Chinese Cuisine! Wolfgang Puck knows well about most important three elements for entertaining customers. Those are Ambiance, Service and Food. Beautiful night view
Heather was great to us. She is the best. The lobster spring rolls were our favorite item. And the chef kindly complimented us with some dessert on the house. Thank you
Mediocre at best, sadly. Food is over-priced. Physical space was meandering and lacked focus.
It’s a great experience to sit and din at a place like this! Beautiful view and very elevating
We have visited WP24 many times and the food is always very consistant. This last time we began our dinner with the maine lobster spring rolls and steamed bao buns. Both where delicious I could have eaten at least 2 more bao buns with that delicious pork belly, yum! For the main course my wife and daughter had Japanese black cod and it was delicious and cooked to perfections, I could see how the layers of the cod pulled out gently and effortless. I usually order the roasted pecking duck with the bao buns but this time I went with a new item and ordered the pan seared halibut. I loved the flavor as well as the presentation. the cod looked like an exotic island surrounded by edible flowers and an oceans of sea flavors. For dessert we had the Souffle and it was worth the 20 minute wait, we also hasd the exotic fruit plate.
Andrea our server was very nice and helpful I only have one advise for her and that's to be more attentive to replenishing the wine.... other than that, she is excellent.
Brilliant food, amazing views, very helpful friendly and proactive service. We’ll be back!
Great ambience and good selection of vegan food. Will definitely bring more people here.
Menu had a small selection of what we liked and expected. Service was excellent and ambiance was quiet to hear our conversations. The view on top of the city was spectacular. Overall the experience was ok.
Sehr gute Küche in einem sehr angenehmen und ruhigen Ambiente.
WP24 was a very amazing restaurant. The food was so tasty and the ambience was spectacular. The staff were very professional and friendly. They were dressed well and they treated everyone in my group with utmost respect. I would totally recommend this restaurant to everyone and I would be back very soon. It is a good spot for a date night or birthday celebrations.
WP24 is an excellent and special place for dining and relaxing for any occasion. I’ll give them 5 stars anytime and all the time. A very classy place.
Enjoyed every recommendation by our server Jordan. We ordered the crispy skin suckling pig, Maine lobster spring rolls, tiny dumplings, crystal chive dumplings, broiled Japanese black cod, grilled lamb chops, slow cooked beef short ribs, a whole roasted Peking duck, and the three treasure fried rice. And to end it off, with a chocolate soufflé & a blackberry napoleon. Everything was fantastic, service was outstanding. They were very knowledgeable about their menu & fresh ingredients. Definitely made our dinner special for our dad celebrating Fathers Day.
Beautiful place. Great service. Great food. Highly recommend!
The pork belly appetizer and the crab dim sum were not as tasty as in a decent Chinese restaurant. It had nothing to do with authenticity, just about flavor and texture (the pork belly was not crispy, it was tough!). The very hot chili sauce overwhelmed the flavor of the sea bass. On the good side, some of the small vegetable portions that came with the appetizers were tasty and interesting, and the lamb was tasty and the portion generous.
The maitre d was very pleasant, but our waiter was very condescending. He insisted to my friend (second generation Chinese) that all Chinese food has chili.
It was wonderful
Everything perfect, for my wife’s 45 birthday, I couldn’t have asked for anything more elegant and romantic
Expensive but superb service, food, and ambiance. Tiny dumplings, wokfried sea bass, Coffee souffle. Yum! Great views from window tables
We were rushed to pay our bill. Felt really uncomfortable. Different people came trying to get out bill when we were still eating and drinking. We honestly felt that we were being stereotyped for being young and tattooed. People shouldn’t judge others on the way they look.
Good ambiance and service. Food was good as well. Nice place to take a date.
Food was very, very good. Service was great, very enjoyable evening.
We had the lobster spring rolls, the chive dumplings, triple fried rice, half Peking and short ribs with banana mousse for dessert. All of the food was spectacular (especially the duck and the fried rice). GREAT DINNER.
Everything was great. The service was not a 5 star. We were also charged for valet when we were clearly told it was free. We spent close to $800 and we getting charged for valet was not appreciated.
I will be calling the billing department tomorrow and will also be filing a complain. Thank you
This was such an amazing and beautiful restaurant. I enjoyed my evening with my friends and boyfriend. Amazing restaurant beautiful view
Friendly service, delicious food as always, beautiful setting and view, thank you.
Food was great, the desserts used to be incredible and are not as amazing as I remember.
Excellent food, obviously the Peking was great. Jordan our server had only exceptional recommandations. You can trust him all the way.
Great Food & service with the best views in LA!!! The Dim Sum and Lamb were equally amazing.
Food was delicious. View of downtown LA was great. Waiter was extraordinary. Couldn't have been a better evening.
Awesome service and view. Food was amazing, just enough.
Mother’s Day brunch was a bargain at $59 considering the variety of food available and the quality of service
Went to the Mother's Day Brunch. It was amazing! The view, the prices everything was great. Nelson was great! He made sure everything was good with us.
Terrible experience in general especially for Mothers Day- cheap asian restorant, very disappointing
We enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch. The services are excellent and the cooking stations at kitchen are so much fun! Dim Sum station was over-crowded and under-cooked, overall not many vegetarian option. But we are very happy :)
