Jan and his crew were great as usual, exceptional service food and drinks
Quite possibly the finest dining experience of my life!
My friend and I were seated at a table near a window, although it was pretty much too dark by this time to appreciate the scenic vista outside. Greeted by Shannan, our principal server, who was fantastic, we ordered some house specialty cocktails. My companion tried a "24th floor" and I had a "Heaven Sent." Both were excellent, high-quality cocktails.
We had appetizers of escargot (first timers!) and calamari, both of which were delicious beyond description. Sliced bread is served with whipped butter. On this evening, the choices were whole wheat and white. I tried one of each, and found it to be pretty ordinary.
A palate-cleansing intermezzo was served prior to the entrees. This was a light, creamy, cold sauce with a neutral taste and a pea in it, perhaps two ounces.
For entrees, my friend chose the Wehpittituck Farms Berkshire Pork, which she loved. I had the 22-ounce Dry Aged Rib Eye Steak. I ordered it medium, and although it was cooked somewhat unevenly, about one-third of it was medium-well, the steak was tender and moist throughout with a unique and flavorful seasoning. The entrees are basically a la carte, although they did come with some interesting "accessories." We also shared an "accompaniment" of sauteed carrots, which were excellent. With our entrees, we enjoyed some wine, a glass of Stellina di Notte Pinot Grigio for my companion, and I had two glasses of Trefethen Merlot, which complimented the beef entree very nicely.
By this point, we were sated but decided to indulge in dessert anyway, as we were celebrating her birthday. She chose a raspberry/chocolate cake or torte, which I believe was an off-menu addition, lovingly served with a birthday candle and a "happy birthday" chocolate bar. I had the Chocolate Irish Cream cake. We shared a Snickerdoodle coffee to top it all off.
The cost of this 2 1/2 hour feast, excluding gratuity, was $323, and I would do it again!
The Host and wait staff were fantastic. The food was excellent! Great dining experience. Would highly recommend to others. Thank you.
Nice restaurant, great location. Wish there was more variety in the menu and more wine choices.
I was somewhat disappointed in that my chicken with the chicken & waffles entrée was spoiled and I had to return it. I did alert the waitress but nothing was done, not even taking a few dollars off of the overall bill. Some of the shrimp were also spoiled. However, I did enjoy the French toast, bacon and steak & fries, along with the dessert bar. The ambiance was also great.
Vue 24 is an excellent restaurant to celebrate special occasions. We did a birthday dinner and my guest felt pampered. The menu has small plates as well as ala carte. It offers a variety for everyone. There’s a pianist Jack Madry who’s fantastic and makes dining the best ever! Excellent food. Highly recommended!
Had a great brunch. Great service and the food was really good The best part of dessert. Wow
My wife and I heard very good things about this restaurant. Our biggest issue was with the food. We needed to send back our appetizers and my entrée because they were not presented as ordered. My steak was so bad they removed it from our final bill. Everyone was very nice and they were very quick to make everything right.
Always a pleasure
Great location - wonderful view/sunset. Glad we were able to sneak in before a show. Nice to get out of the “casino crowd” and relax in a nice quiet oasis. The halibut was a tiny bit salty, but the ribeye and lobster bisque were wonderful!
Outstanding atmosphere and views. Food was amazing
Vue 24 is excellent! Our waiters Myles and Kate were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The view is also extraordinary! Very romantic plus there is live jazz piano that adds an extra special touch! Worth every penny!
Great food, great vibes. Went there for my fathers birthday dinner. Everything was great. The only thing was my fiancé asked for his steak medium rare and it came out medium. Not a deal breaker.
This is the second time we've eaton at VUE 24 giving it the benefit of the doubt. My salmon was so overcooked that I had to drink water to swallow it. My husband had fish priced at $52.. REALLY! The waiter never came back to check if we liked the food. I'm not a fan of another waiter clearing the table before your waiter comes to see if the meal was satisfactory. Thumbs down in my book and way overpriced for what you get.
Delicious dinner. Great view. Great music.
Everything was amazing...will be back and bring friends!!!
Incredible service, amazing and by far best restaurant I've been to in New England. Also Heidi was a perfect waitress.
Great service! Great food.
We stay at Foxwoods at least once a year. We always wanted to there. I am so glad I did. We started our evening at the bar where the hostess welcome us. She was absolutely charming. We sat at the bar for about an hour where the bartender was friendly. It was if he knew us for years. It was a beautiful bar where people mingled. From there it was on to dinner. From the moment we sat down to the time we left, we were catered to as if I was a big roller. The waiters were terrific, the piano player was magnificent. The restaurant is romantic. The view from the 24th floor was awesome. As we left the restaurant, the whole staff came over to us and gave us a hug. Even the piano player. I could go on and on. Also the food was extremely good. It is pricey but well worth it. Go see for yourself. It's a must
The brunch at VUE 24 is excellent. It is not your typical buffet. You get a menu with 10 items on it that you order from. There is also a buffet with shrimp, fruits, yogurts, and different salads and breads. There is a dessert buffet as well, with all items made by Cake by Franck.
The food is very high quality and the view from the 24th floor is something to see .
The buffet costs $40 per person, they offer drink specials such as unlimited Bloody Mary's for $20.
You can't go wrong with the food items, the lobster omelet is great, the short rib hash is one of my favorites.
Service is excellent and you do not feel rushed.
There is no dress code and some people wear tee shirts while most are casual.
Great view. Cold, hard waffle, hash was shredded beef, awful sauce on eggs Benedict served with ham and soggy English muffin. Extra charge for all drinks, even soda. Recommend fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee come with brunch for that price. Servers were very nice.
Loved it here. The service and the food was amazing!
Everything at VUE 24 is excellent. We single out server Heidi is among the best we have enjoyed worldwide. We will be attending the restaurant very often.
Food was excellent. This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary.
We went for my husband’s Birthday. The service is wonderful and the food is always on point. A little pricey but the ambience is worth it.
Creative French and Continental cuisine with modern flare. Excellent chef
We had a wonderful dinner. The poached lobster with corn pudding was delightfully rich and yummy. They offer some yummy cocktails. We had the chocolate peanut butter martini— loved it! Service was perfect. Attentive, but not overbearing. We always plan on dinner at Vue 24 whenever we are at Foxwoods.
Anniversary dinner. Excellent in all ways. Right down to the rose petals on table and piano playing during dinner. Highly recommended.
We waited an hour to order an appetizer. The server never apologized for the wait. We were given another table's appetizer. There were maybe 4 other tables dining, so it was not busy whatsoever. This is not the type of service you'd expect at what's supposed to be fine dining experience.
The food and service is outstanding! The Vue has a great menu and wine list. The bar is a good size and nice to have dinner or the dining room is lovely.
There’s a jazz pianist that makes the atmosphere special. Chef Michael does a fantastic job.
The lobster bisque is excellent as are all the entrees and appetizers. Jumbo cocktail shrimp are the best. The chef offers a small tray of sweets after dinner, a very nice touch!
If you’re at Foxwoods you must go to The Vue for a fine dining!!
Service (Kevin) was excellent. Food (chateaubriand) was perfectly prepared and served with a great variety of side dishes.
Amazing Brunch. Good variety. They encourage you to order as many different small plates as you want and to share them..
Dessert table is quite attractive and tempting, don’t resist everything is delicious!
Highly recommend this Brunch
What a delightful dining experience. The service and staff were outstanding. Had that old world charm. Classy, top notch restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and will definitely be going back again and again.
The wait for the food was a long one and the steak was over cooked. The waiter was fantastic great personality very helpful with all of our questions probably wouldn’t go back
Amazing experience. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.
The Vue is perfect for special occasions or just for two for a quiet dinner. Great menu selections that include small plates and delicious appetizers.
The servers are outstanding!
Chef Michael does an outstanding job.
If you’re visiting Foxwoods, The Vue is a must. An elegant ambiance and live piano music.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience. The service was wonderful and the good was delicious!!
Excellent food and warm ambiance. Very attentive and welcoming staff. A wonderful respite from the frenzy of the casinos. The view on the 24th floor and the sunset combined for a great pre-concert early evening dinner. We will return to this oasis!
The service was good and friendly. The ambiance was very nice and calming. The only negative was the food that we had ordered. The salad was very heavy on the balsamic vinegar, and very small for the $15 charge. The bread was very dry, and the pasta was really bland. There wasn't any butter, pepper, or salt anywhere on the table to try and spruce it up. The cocktails were really good and I am sure the rest of the menu might have been good, but I really didn't want to spend more money to find out.
