Verde - Perez Art Museum Miami
Why this place isn't packed on Thursday nights when the museum is open late, is really beyond me. It's a great spot with well thought out selections. And oh, the view of the intercostal and the outdoor sculpture is such a plus.
Kitchen ignored server’s instructions to serve my sauce on the side. Server offered to have the dish remade, but I was hungry and felt it was ok enough with the sauce in the food.
Really enjoyed the beet salad and cheese grits! Our server Amanda was great!! Prices averaged about $15 per dish with a few higher, and a few lower, and the portions are very nice sized! Beautiful view of the bay ...relaxing area.
Verde was clearly not prepared to serve diners at the Members 4th of July celebration. The food service was so slow that it ruined our plans to both have dinner and see the fireworks. It took 35 minutes to get our salads after ordering -- salads! We were the lucky ones though -- we got some food. Two neighboring tables left without getting anything except apologies. Pathetic.
An absolute disaster. After an hour and fifteen, our appetizer was Delivered to the wrong table. We could not get more drinks and had to go to a bar elsewhere in the facility to get in and a drink for a table. They were completely overwhelmed given that it was a special event and completely on able to accommodate the person who had come. The food was fair and the food was expensive. Normally I love going to the restaurant; however, this night was terrible.
Great food, service, and experience. Prices very reasonable. Ate outside and looked out to Biscayne Bay.
We enjoyed our visit.
Restaurant was quite....
Surroundings, as always, were lovely.
A little overpriced, not a place to go to before the theater since it closes at 5. Waitress was outstanding.
Excellent service in an exquisite ambiance.
Family and child friendly. Delicious food.
Even though our server messed up our order, the manager was quick to respond and the server was kind enough to make up for it. The food was delicious, but a little over priced. The pancakes I was told were large, but they were 2 normal sized pancakes, aside from that everything was exceptional. I just wish it hadn’t rained so I could enjoy the view. Will be coming back again when it’s not raining and will order the pancakes and not share with the hubby this time lol
Beautiful spot, I always bring visitors here. Lots to do before and after you eat too.
Service was excellent. Location is beautiful. Food was delicious and presentation was perfect. Will definitely return.
So glad you enjoyed your visit! Hope to see you again soon!
I’ve been to Verde many times over the years and usually have a good experience. This experience was unfortunate.
Simple dinner. Pizza and salad. Pizza was soaked in oil and only the crust was edible. Likewise, salad was soaked in Caesar dressing tot he extent that was inedible.
Server was pleasant and efficient.
I’m hindsight, I wish I had chosen a different dinner location.
I won’t be returning.
I apologize you had a bad experience, we never want guests to leave unsatisfied. Hopefully you will decide to choose to dine with us again and we can turn that perception around!
My chicken and waffles was fabulous. Once we were sat, it took
Glad you liked the dish, they are a wonderful new brunch menu item!
We had lunch at the Verde restaurant at the Perez museum. The ambiance was beautiful but the food left a lot to be desired.
Perfect spot to dine with a gorgeous view. Food was good and service wonderful. Felt like we were on vacation.
I normally love Verde. It is located in a beautiful, privileged spot, especially if you eat outdoors. The food is normally very good. However, this time, we went for their special Dim Sum (to coincide with the opening of a Chinese-American artist) and it was a disaster. First of all, they had advertised the event as a traditional Dim Sum with bamboo baskets and rolling carts, but, instead, it was an appetizer with only 8 dumplings in a basket for $20. On top of that, the steamed dumplings's dough was seriously undercooked. It was a disaster. I hope that they get their act together, soon, or we won't be returning to Verde.
On the positive side, the service was excellent and the ambiance, of course, perfect.
I made a reservation solely for my son to experience dim sum with carts, the way it was advertised on the PAMM website. Instead, we arrive and no one is around to seat us. We are seated and attended to 30 minutes after our reservation (not normally a big deal, but we had plans after brunch so it jammed us up time-wise). Then we were told there were no carts, only a small basket of very mediocre dim sum for $20. I love the food and atmosphere at Verde, but the online bait and switch was annoying. Will think twice before believing that an event at PAMM is as advertised.
Food was great, service was very slow and forgetful
So disappointed. Ok, so the menu is VERY short but the quality of the food is not the same. Both hamburgers and the chicken were overcooked. We have eaten at Verde many times but will not be back.
Wonderful food and service. The view on a day like today makes the visit spectacular
Amazing food and beautiful views! A must-eat spot in Miami.
I took my mother and law and mother for Sunday brunch and they were thrilled. My mother in law was worried about heat but we sat outside and it was lovely. The food was amazing. My mom, who was visiting from Boston, said it was the best brunch she has had in a very long time. Great service and great food.
I would definitely recommend this place, very beautiful view, food was very tasty and nice presentation.
Staff was very friendly, and just in general I love all the hospitality they had with us.
Such a cute brunch spot! Food was delicious and the photo shoot after was bomb!
The main problem was that we had to keep asking for water (3x) until I finally got up and got it. The server served tepid coffee which we sent back and then they delivered hot coffee where the recipe was not followed (and I like strong coffee) so we had to ask for hot water and keep diluting it. In summary, our server was not on top of things, and we were not demanding, just wanted to basics covered.
We went to have a nice Easter Brunch with the family.
Although the food was very nice, we were rushed into ordering the food, eating and leaving the restaurant because they were booked. Which we thought was very rude.
Going to a restaurant is not only about the food but also about the whole experience.
They have reduced their dinner menu. My favorite was gone. Would maybe eat elsewhere downtown next time I visit the museum.
The ambiance is the star. Outdoor tables, fantastic water view in the beautiful building of the PAMM. Worth the deep breath and quiet moments in there. We ordered two dished but the "chicken under a brick" was the best!
I've been to Verde many times, I think their Burger used to be very good, this time was kind of dry and the meat was bland. It's a nice location, I think the pizza will be my go to when visiting and their fries.
Very Very cold inside and they were not very helpful in accommodating outside.
Made reservations at the restaurant to be sure to get a table after a visit to the museum. We could sit outside (table was ready upon our arrival), and the waitress came promptly to take our orders.
We ordered from the brunch menu, and the food arrived without much delay. While the food itself was tasty, I was disappointed with the portion/price relation:
Shrimp and Grits consisted of a huge portion of grits, which covered the entire bottom of the plate. The sauce was a smear across the top of the grits (ca. 2" wide), with 3 shrimp on my husband's plate, 4 on mine... very little substance to the sauce itself. Price: $17.00
Another dish was the smoked salmon with egg ... again, a huge hunk of bread, salmon was o.k., the egg was 1/2 boiled egg!!! Price: $16.00
I was really disappointed with this experience. If I have friends asking about the restaurant, I would recommend it only because it is nice to sit outside on the veranda overlooking the port of Miami, maybe sipping some wine....
I´ve been to Verde many times before and I always want to go back. Sunday´s menu is delicious. Don´t miss the margarita pizza. We love to sit outside to enjoy the breeze and the view. There is a huge and beautiful park right next to the Perez Museum, we always take our dog after lunch, and the kids play ball. If you are around at 4:30 pm that´s when the cruises start sailing and It´s wonderful to watch.
It used to be better.
...it was a lovely meal celebrating one of my best friend’s birthday. we enjoyed delicious “green” gazpacho, kale salad, a margarita pizza and a complementary delicious dessert. the view was relaxing as was the atmosphere. ( p.s. it was delightful to enjoy a meal where i got married almost 4 years ago)
THE FOUR OF US LOVED THE RESTAURANT BUT THE MUSEUUM DIDNT APPEAL TO US
Very good menu. Server extremely helpful and competent and patient. The visit to the museum was enhanced by this dining experience.
I celebrated my birthday here, with a group of 20 people and it was my favorite birthday yet. The waitress as well as the restaurant did an exceptional job accommodating us all and attending to all our needs. It was a plus going to check out the museum after our lunch and knowing it was right there.
