Everything was wonderful!
Delicious. Affordable and very cute location. Totally recommend to friends catching up for brunch!
Love the bottomless brunch! Food is good and the ambiance is nice
Great experience, highly recommend
My friend ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, but salmon was not fresh and very fishy.
I orderedordered Mediterranean frittata , but it was an omelette vs a traditional frittata.
I was very disappointed cause the service was very good and decor lovely, but the food was subpar.
Thanks to Marco and staff for always giving my family an I a great experience!
Nick & Family!
Service was excellent, a lil too much noise for my liking and my take out order was incorrect. But overall it was a great experience I will definitely return for brunch and mimosas
Great service always. One of my favorite brunch spots. Keep up the great work :-)
I have eaten here several times and tried different dishes. The food is delicious. The staff is very kind, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Verde for anyone looking to have brunch, lunch or dinner. Great place.
Great food. Service was great. Third visit. Am from Jamaica so try to visit Verde each trip to Brooklyn, NYC
Fathers Day Brunch/Lunch
We were seated in back, under the sun, which would’ve been ok if seating was comfortable HOWEVER chairs are tiny wooden fold ups -Not Very comfortable to sit on for more than a half hour!
After waiting quite some time, hanger steak & salmon were over cooked. Didn’t bother to say anything cause really couldn’t sit another hour on those chairs!!
Father’s day brunch
Loovvveee! This place food is amazing drinks on point ! Will deff come back !
Best Brunch spot
Verde on SMITH is a great vibe for brunch! Came with some friends & had a blast. Service was wonderful & the food was so good. Would definitely recommend for brunch, have yet to try their dinner menu.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
Our food and drinks came on time and were very good. We had long conversations with the staff about their favorite drinks. We will definitely come back again.
The food was so terrible we canceled our second entree and just asked for the bill.
Based on the mixed reviews my husband and I decided to try this restaurant out but let me save you time - we went here for dinner on a Friday night and the food was the worst we’ve ever had. Here are the cons:
• My husband ordered a glass of Montepuciano which arrived in a dirty glass and tasted rancid as if the bottle had been left opened for a while
• we ordered the octopus which smelled fishy and was served with yellowish/wilted arugula
• we ordered the carbonara which was served in a watery type sauce that had no flavor
• When we asked the waiter what their speciality dish is the waiter replied “everything we make is good” and didn’t engage or provide their knowledge of the menu
Pro: the owner seemed concerned that we didn’t eat our food and asked for the bill. He offered us a free meal but (we don’t see how they could change our view of their poor food quality unless they make major changes to their kitchen) we declined his offer.
Love this place
Tried this restaurant in our daughters new neighborhood
We went with our son and we were seated between 2 very noisy tables that were celebrating
The management was very kind and discreetly moved us to the front of the restaurant where it was much quieter
Our appetizers were very good ; grilled octopus & burratta & meats . 3 chicken dinners were also very good
Nice neighborhood find 😉
Everything was great!!! The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome!! Be back soon!!!
Super simple delicious
Molto bene !!
Sat at the bar! So glad I made reservations, very busy for brunch but great atmosphere. Food was good!
Much improved menu with more options at all price points- good food- excellent wait staff. Somewhat crowded as the weather was rainy and therefore no tables in the garden.
A1 since day 1!
Food always on point!
Bottomless brunch is always the way to go!
Our initial server seemed bothered and hurried from the moment we arrived. Whenever we asked a question about the menus he would interrupt us and say that everything they serve was delicious.
Our entrees took over 40 min to come to our table. Then,
all of our food orders came out wrong (e.g. I asked for no mash potatoes and my plate came out with mash potatoes. One of the other party members asked for a cream sauce and got red sauce).
When we had to return a drink because it wasn’t properly made, the server shrugged and said “Well, there’s nothing I can do.” And still charged us for the drink.
A second server (perhaps he manager) realized that things were going wrong and was quite apologetic. He even ordered us free dessert. But unfortunately, even the dessert tasted bad.
Would not recommend this restaurant for food or service.
The only 2 problems I had were that our drinking glasses were a bit "spotty" for my liking (so I requested new ones) and the food needed a tad bit more salt. Aside from them bringing me the wrong order, but quickly correcting the situation, and the 25% service charge with the audacity to ask for EXTRA tip, a great time was had by myself and my 2 lady companions.
Vodka sauce seemed a bit watery and lacked flavor. Couldve mixed the chicken with pasta better then plopped on top. New management needs adjustment
My fiancé and I had a wonderful time having dinner to celebrate a month until our wedding! The waiter was fabulous and was extremely kind. The food was delicious. I had the chicken dish in a burgundy sauce with onions and mushrooms. The chicken was tender and sauce was amazing. They even brought me out some extra broccoli since I thought the broccoli raab was regular broccoli. Will definitely be back!
The Crispy Gnocchi is a MUST! Delicious dish and the gnocchi aren’t heavy either - nice & light! Would also recommend the Spinach & Gorgonzola salad - another yummy dish!
Just very average food. Not sure why the great reviews.
I enjoyed the time spent here! The waiters are very attentive and accommodating. The bottomless mimosas are daily which is also wonderful!
Excellent food and great service.... wine list needs work.
The meal and service was great.
Not what it used to be. What used to be a very good Italian restaurant with a well thought out delicious menu has now become a noisy common place Mediterranean Italian with 3 TVs, and a mediocre common place menu.
The octopus appetizer was good as was the eggplant. That was the best part. The shrimp scampi were cold and over cooked, the tuna entree was tasteless, the penne primavera was undercooked and chicken Marsala was just average. Service was ridiculously slow, likely due to being understaffed. I miss the old Verde.
Food was decent, waiting staff seemed to be busy with other tables. Ordered the surf and turf for 2, steak was a bit over cooked(ordered medium-rare, was cooked closer to medium-well), other guests were extremely noisy. This is not a good place for a quiet date.
Food was about average, very friendly staff and mostly attentive.
The waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating to us. He offered his opinion on different appetizers when asked. We weren’t rushed to order or leave. He checked on us often.
My dad and I went to the Verde on Smith to catch up as father and daughter. We received great service and my dad LOVEDDDD the Branzino. It was a little over seasoned in my opinion but still delicious and FRESH. I will definitely be returning. Well priced and great service
Great food and great service. Very attentive
