Valentino's Cucina Italiana
Excellent food. Service was also very good. Expensive for what you get (small portions and no accompaniments), but a nice “special occasion” venue, nonetheless
The music was very loud where my wife and I could not talk over the music. Even though we thought this restaurant was in Florida, the temperature inside reminded us of Alaska during the winter - very cold.
Specials were only appetizers and not entrees.
We’ve eaten at this restaurant before and enjoyed it - not this time !!
On par with a Jean Georges restaurant.
we loved the food and ambiance what a romantic relaxed place!
We had a fabulous experience , the food was fabulous !!!! the atmosphere was great a little loud but it was still great ,very chic restaurant , and our waiter Mark was excellent !!!!! Honestly there’s nothing bad to say we loved it !!!!
First time , LAST time , arrived 7:25 and was promptly seated , waiter took drink order and suggested appetizer order , 55 minutes later still no appetizer delivered , other tables getting there’s, and even entrees, and they came later, I was going to leave , the manager did come over and comped our appetizer, but by then we were not enjoying the experience, as this was our Anniversary Dinner and a surprise for my wife, she had not eaten all day, and was also getting upset , What can we say, the whole experience was ruined for the evening, I guess our expectations were to high , and I felt bad.We did order a dessert and the black plate it was served on was cracked and had a few sharp chips missing on plate, should have been thrown out, they could afford nice plates. Will never go back or recommend.
My favorite restaurant of all time!!!!!
Had a party of 4, 1 person was over 30 mins late and would not get me a table until all 4 were there. Ladies at desk were not nice.
The food as very good, and the waiter was very good in his recommendations to us. However, once the order was taken, the waiter was not particularly attentive (not nearly as much as he was to the young ladies at the bar). I would happily return, but hope for better service next time.
Interesting new takes on traditional dishes. Subtle flavor nuances make for a wonderful dining experience. Service is terrific too.
Outstanding sweetbreads! It is very pleasing that the chef is willing to accommodate my special requests for sweetbreads each time I have dined at Valentino's.
Mark is the best, food is spectacular!
Not a great experience. Food took hour and half to arrive . When food arrived it was over seasoned and cold . Management did absolutely not thing about situation except offer us free ice cream .Not a great experience
Finest Italian restaurant in S Florida....very reasonably priced for a Fab menu
Best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! If possible sit at the chefs counter. Awesome to watch the chef roll out the pasta, cook it and then deliver perfection to your palette.
Exceptional wine list. Amazing food. Absolutely loved the special raviolo appetizer. Celebratory lemoncello was the icing on top of the cake!
Everything was spectacular until we had to leave suddenly and the water waiter needed to box up our entrees. The duck ravioli was packed sideways and falling out of the box and the crostini was in the quart if ciopoino to get soggy. Mike, the waiter was absolutely amazing as was the food he recommended.
One of the best restaurant in Broward County. My wife and I have been at Valentino's many times and the pleasure is always the same. Excellent food, service and ambient!
Our waiter was fantastic, but our food took an extremely long time to come, and the restaurant was busy but not packed. The slow cook time and small portion sizes were not a great combination, however when the food did come, it was delicious. We also really appreciated the skill and attentiveness of our waiter, who could not do much to speed up the kitchen but did pay a lot of attention to detail and was very responsive
Pastas were outstanding although portions are very small for the price. Service was excellent. Limited choices for main courses.
Beautiful setting. In general a very good dining experience.
Truly the best restaurant in Broward County. Owner was cooking, Wait service perfect.
Absolutely amazing !
I go to Valentno's when I want very good Italian cooking...which is not easy to find. We had a wonderful sophisticated Italian waiter who made everything sound mouthwatering. There was valet parking right at the building, and a terrific bar. We really enjoyed the food and the service.
Service very very slow
Wonderful modern take on Italian food...Delicious!
We had a great experience and loved everything! Our only request would be that the music volume be turned down a little so conversation would be a little easier!
Amazing dinner, specials were detailed, service was great and perfect wine suggestion.
Wonderful homemade pasta is an airy dining room. Love the wine list as well and great daily speicals
Amazing!! The food was exquisite. The service was impeccable. Our waiter CJ was excellent. He was attentive, yet he gave us our space to enjoy our meal and each others company without constant imterruption. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and it was a perfect evening.
This is one of my favorite nicer restaurants in downtown Fort Lauderdale. I would define the cuisine as modern Italian- they are always doing something creative or different but the menu is always inspired but traditional Italian flavors. Portions are small but everything is unique and delicious. Be ready for an expensive bill but well worth it for a business meal or special occasion.
Outstanding food but service above any expectations.
Marco, the chef of the salon is really the best in providing the wonderful experience to the lovers of italian food.
Simply outstanding ! Very very High quality food and good service. One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in recent times - and we have been to many !
Great food and service. This is real authentic Italian food for sure.
We ordered the appetizer specials, scallops, duck sausage and heirloom tomato. For our entree ,we had the seafood pasta and osso bucco pasta. The food was amazing! The whole experience was amazing !
A wonderful restaurant with creative delicious dinners and amazing service. we tried the scallops, caesar salad and so much more.
Upon arriving, my wife and I were offered Chef's seating and took the offer which I highly recommend. After 34 years together the courting days are long gone and enjoyed watching the magic of our dishes being prepared in front of us and the light conversations with Giovanni and his highly capable staff! The food was terrific and service equal to it. Anyone who has been to Italy and experienced fresh made Mozzarella will love the Burrata Cheese! Definitely a dining experience to put on your to do list!
Tables very close together. No privacy. & very noisy. Music too loud. Food very over salted. Bread skimpy & not very good.
Beautiful presentation of creative appetizers, entrees and desserts. However, the prices are very pricey for
many small portioned plates of food. The noise level when the restaurant is full is too loud. Seating near the
preparation areas is not desirable and seating near the bar area is dark. Very eclectic restaurant, but not for everyone!
Everything was great EXCEP THE DOG Sitting next to us WE aLL KOW THEASE PEOPLE HAVE FAKE SERVICE CERTIFICATES FROM THE INTERNET THIS IS A RESTURANT,,,
Food was delicious, a little bit pricey but it’s worthy. Small portions but you will feel satisfied, looking forward to the next visit. I would definitely go back!!! I was glad to tried this restaurant and I recommend it to everyone who loves good food.
