Please note that a 20% service charge will be added to all checks and 100% of the service charge is distributed to the service staff. Additional gratuity is at the guest's discretion.
I really enjoyed the Greek yogurt, fruit and granola bowl. My husband’s chicken sausage was not good. It was over cooked and dried out. We called it to the attention of our server who said she would take it off the bill. We were charged anyway.
All four of us had something different for lunch and each of us enjoyed our meal. Wait staff was friendly and attentive and were careful to explain that a 20% gratuity would be added into the bill. We had a window table so it was a great spot to people watch as well.
The grilled cheese sandwich is the best in Seattle!
Service was too slow
Urbane is a good option for breakfast when you are near the convention center. Service is quite good and food choices are good if a little standard with a few exceptions (like my crab benedicts). Service is nice and friendly although they seemed a bit understaffed when we were there. I definitely recommend Urbane.
Good food, a little pricey.
Nothing very bad or very good. It was fine, with nice service, decent food, and open on Sunday night.
Marty was a great server! Unique menu. Green salad was a bit strange, but the crab cakes were excellent.
Food choices limited and not up to Seattle quality
Hard to imagine that this place will survive
The food was just ok- not worth the $. The service was terrible - brought me an appetizer I did not order, argued about it before taking it back, and it appeared on the bill. Waiter was in friendly and absent. I have never been somewhere where a 20% tip was added for a party of three
Will not return
I don't like a 20% service fee up front. I will never go back to Urbane.
Lovely bagel and lox. Went back to have it two days in a row.
The service was great, would definitely go back again!
Food was delicious and fresh. The alcoholic beverages for brunch were overpriced and it felt like you were in a hotel restaurant.
The featured burger was very tasty. Pulled pork on top was so delicious.
The food was delicious and beautifully plated. We had 3 apps and 2 salads. Nothing was oversized, which is a nice change. However, the plate to price ratio was quite high. The service was excellent. The 20% mandatory up charge isn’t a system I’m on board with. Perhaps the owners/ managers of Hyatt could pay the support staff a lot bing wage is instead? The wait staff on the front lines who have to take on the heavy lifting from the customers should be rewarded for jobs well done.
Urbane has been consistently good for years. Always fresh ingredients and I've always found something I like, regardless of my mood. Solid wine list. And the service has always been stellar.
It's our go-to before a show at the Paramount. Also nice to stop by after the show for dessert or a quick after-dinner drink. Others in the area may have bigger names, but Urbane is equal (or better) than them all.
Best crab cakes we’ve had! We also had the halibut, salmon and caesar salad. All delicious. Try the bread pudding too!
We dined on a Sunday late afternoon before a show at the Paramount. We ordered a selection of appetizers from the bar menu; we loved the Grilled Salmon Rillette and Mac n Cheese, but the Short Rib Sliders and an Asian-inspired dish were average. There weren't many customers in the bar and there wasn't much ambiance (except a few people at the bar watching soccer) but maybe that was due to our "after lunch but before dinner" timing. The service was good, but there was too much of it! Servers kept coming by our table asking if everything was ok...it was, but their constant interruptions became a joke.
The food and service were excellent but found the bill to be high - $146 for 4 starters and 4 glasses of wine.
We had a great lunch experience!
My visiting team members from Auburn, WA enjoyed the quality of service and food options.
Speedy service and refreshing atmosphere
I went to the restaurant based on the menu and proximity to the Paramount. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Grilled Pork Chop with Beecher’s Flagship Grits...wonderfully smoky and flavorful. The Pork Belly starter was also delicious with the spicy cabbage & pickled mushrooms.
If you’re going to the show afterwards, I’d advise reminding your server more than once as service got more difficult from beginning to end.
The signature cocktails need a bit more work.
Wonderful service and absolutely delicious food!
Good solid place and lunch time menu. I would recommend for friends or clients.
With our reservation they put us in the bar even though dining room was not full at all. Staff was rude and barely showed up even when asked to come over. Awful.
Urbane was ok. Food was not bad-but not great. Server was very nice. Thought it was odd they sat us in the bar even though we had reservations-the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived and certainly not full when we left. Just an ok restaurant-will probably not return.
Our engagement in Seattle. We ate with Nicole and she was such a pleasure! Food was great and came out fast. Lovely experience!
Food took a little bit to come out but we were not in a rush. Service was excellent and the menu had something for everything. When we got our food it was delicious. Will return!
A wonderful place for dinner before a concert at the Paramount.
The food is very nice. The waitstaff is very attentive without pretension. I bit pricey, though.
Fantastic food, location and service. Unfortunately, it is incredibly loud due to tall ceilings and lack of sound baffling. Difficult to have a conversation over our meal at our four-top table. I’d return, but only during very slow times or off hours.
We did breakfast at Urbane. Both Benedict's are great, as is the French Toast. The Avocado Toast is good (too much arugula, not enough avocado). Service was very good.
Excellent food and impeccable service! Very convenient to the Paramount Theatre.
A delicious oasis in downtown Seattle, Urbane is a lovely place for lunch.
Nice atmosphere, service is okay. Selection is very lacking, food is mediocre at best and portions are unbalanced and pricey.
Food was good and everyone was sooo nice!
Wasn’t what I expected but food was clever and delicious- great creative flavor combinations- but hotel lounge feel.
Amazing strawberry rhubarb shortcake ! Butter chicken wasn’t very good. Thanks again heavily spiced compared to the traditional recipe. Awesome mac and cheese.
The value of what you get for $100 meal is poor. Didn’t appreciate an automatic gratuity of 20% for a party of 2. Parking was supposed to be validated but because I went to a concert afterward that invalidated it and cost me $25. Just had higher hopes all around.
Our meals were very good and it was the 2nd day of their spring menu. I had a fillet of beef and my husband the risotto. The wine list was extensive and our cocktails before dinner were well executed
