baby arugula, heirloom tomato, red onion, lemon, olive oil
French toast style, grand marnier batter, fresh berries
My friend Jennifer enjoyed her salmon entree and I loved the veal chop with arugula salad with chopped tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. She loved her cappuccino and I enjoyed the dessert! Lovely ambiance! Friendly service as Kevin is always so nice and greets us with a smile! Excellent service by Richard & Sergio. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Fantastic service, fantastic food. Highly recommend for Sunday evening when the place isn't so packed and too busy for my tastes.
Underhills Crossing is consistently top-notch! You can expect good food, good service and fun, energetic atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great brunch, lunch and dinner spot.
My friend Dawn enjoyed the Tuna Tartar and I loved the 2 mini fish taco’s! The ambiance was quiet and lovely. The service was very good. One of the servers Kevin stopped by our table and he always greets us with a smile and is so caring to customers. The weekend Greek bartender was there and he was very nice.
The occasion was a mini high school reunion. Our waiter Kevin was most respectful of that fact and allowed us time to catch up. As always food was excellent.
Disappointed. Been here several times because the food is amazing. Each time, the service has been eh a little slow. Not feeling the love here while other patrons receive tons of attention and are regularly checked on. For example, why do I need to ask to refresh the water? Or to have the waiter stop by because I’ve decided to have a glass of wine with my meal. After our last visit, we decided to have a cooling period and spend our well earned money elsewhere.
The food was excellent... my only comment is that the lobster roll seemed a bit sparse on the lobster meat considering that it was supposed to be from a 1 lb lobster. And overpriced for what was there.
Lunch was absolutely delightful. We ordered four very different things and they all came out perfectly cooked beautifully plated delicious and so well priced. It’s a gem
This could be one of the worst meals I’ve had in a restaurant in recent memory. We got the chef‘s tasting and each course was worse than the previous. Something builders ravioli was not a ravioli at all it was a water pasta with some disgusting meat filling piled on top. My lobster tail was cold and dry not served with lemon or butter. The steak was overcooked and tough. The vegetables were cold. The two desserts we had were basically in edible, the chocolate cake was dry and cold. The only thing that we had that was good were the oysters. This is a place to go eat oysters and maybe get a burger. You should stay away from the fancier preparations. It’s a lovely restaurant in a nice setting on Main Street and it’s really a shame the food isn’t better, but it is pretty bad. And it’s quite expensive. And so not worth it!
This restaurant and its entire staff is an example of a work of art manifested through service, quality and ambiance in the food industry,
In all the years we have frequented this establishment, we have never had anything but an extraordinary experience.
Underhills proves that you don't have to go to NYC for a great restaurant. It's first rate in every way/ Very classy! A special place to take a special person. I took my wife there for Valentines Day lunch.
Amazing service. Great food. Fun vibe. Can’t ask for more. Oh, and really good bar!
In short the service was exceptional, friendly and attentive. Food delicious and perfectly cooked.
Near Perfect location for a business meeting. Good food, service and ambiance. Perhaps a tad noisy but workable.
Excellent food and atmosphere. A great vibe outside NYC.
This restaurant is lovely. The ambiance is elegant...service outstanding...and the food was wonderful. You will not be disappointed!
My Mom enjoyed the flatbread with fennel and sausage. She also ordered a hamburger and French fries. She also loved the warm apple tart and vanilla ice cream. I loved the flatbread as well and veal with arugula salad. The servers Nicole and Mario were super nice and the bartender Kevin was so friendly and lovely! Love Underhill Crossings!
Kevin was our server, and he was awesome! The food and service was excellent, can't wait to go back.
Loved the food and atmosphere
As usual, the food was excellent; however, the noise level was too loud. The live piano player although good was constant and loud. It’s very difficult to have a conversation.
Another evening of very good food and cocktails at Underhill. I am from out of town and always try to grab dinner in Bronxville and Underhill is usually a stop as the food, cocktails and service are great.
Turned out they were celebrating 25th anniversary of the restaurant so it was crazy noisy and busy with regulars celebrating. As such service was unusually slow. However, this was a one-time occurrence, and the food was as awesome as always- make sure you try the baked Alaska!
Amazing my fave place to go for food the best drinks and the best ambience
Excellent service, warm inviting room. A traditional American brunch menu. Slightly overpriced even by Bronxville standards but heck the drinks and delicious breads are complimentary.
Great place for a holiday brunch!
Never fails to be one of the great brunches around
Always a pleasure to eat at Underhills. Food and service always excellent. Seating can be tight, not good for an intimate dinner, but the food makes up for it.
The service was very good and the room was very nice but the food was only good. I would go there again more for the ambience than the food.
They had a church choir singing Christmas carols - guests should have been advised when making a reservations
We thoroughly enjoyed everything and
will be back. Even the music was
Great experience all the way around. My Mom was in from out of town and really enjoyed it.
What a delightful, romantic I might add, evening. The waitstaff was very attentive and cordial, the dishes were delicious and attractively presented. Some fabric on the walls or here and there might cut down the 'Energetic' --as you euphemistically put it -- noise level.
Thanksgiving dinner was very very goid except for the carrot cake if thats what you call it. Looked like a mini carrot muffin with no icing. Your clams on the half shell were outstanding! Fresh as can be. I will come again for sure but nix the carrot cake.. yours truly, Ms Madera
Excellent, attentive waiter. Food was good. Would recommend
Wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Butternut squash soup was a big hit. As was the carrot cake. Lots of options for those who don’t like turkey. Great service from the hostess and waiter. Friendly and very helpful. This is our second year in row and I am sure we will be spending thanksgiving here again.
It was my birthday. Staff sang Happy Birthday when they brought my dessert with a lit candle. Food was delicious as it has always been. The restaurant is the best in town.
Excellent, friendly service matched with great food. A welcoming atmosphere. My rack of lamb was savory and generous. The onion soup was one of the best I have ever enjoyed.
not only is the food excellent and nicely presented, the staff are outstanding making for a very pleasant venue with fantastic service from the time you enter until you depart.
Dined during restaurant week. The main course was small ( 2 large scallops) but delicious.
As always, everything was fantastic. I ordered off the Restaurant Week menu and the entire meal was delicious. My husband always orders the chicken scarpariello as he believes it’s the best he’s had. Steve Palm, we love your restaurant!!!
