Great Food ! Love the ambiance it is very cozy and rustic ! A bit Pricey! But worth it !
Food was incredible. Homemade coquito was exceptional. Love the ambiance.
The tilefish and gnudi were AMAZING!!!!!
The food is slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but do not let that dissuade you from eating at Tullulah’s. Everything I’ve ordered had been AMAZING and the service is excellent. For the price you pay for the food you’d expect a more high-end dining experience. Overall, would wholeheartedly recommend.
Went on Saturday night 3/17. The experience started out with an encounter with the rudest hostess we have ever encountered. The rest of the evening could not be saved by the average food and service. Don't waste your time . There are way better dining options .
Excellent quality food, was a very fun place with interesting decor.
As usual ,everything was perfect. Great service food and drinks. The menu is ever changing and the specials are becoming more elaborate. close to the Boulton Center for a preconcert meal.
Good selection for brunch. Everything we ordered was very good. Highly recommend.
Service very slow. They comp'd app due to slow service.
Highly recommended by friends we decided to try it - and we were not disappointed- menu consists mostly of small plates - the menu changes monthly but the classics continue which include - crispy burrata, mac and cheese and chirozo - we enjoyed all which were recommended by one of the owners Sean - he was hospitable and made our first visit even more enjoyable-thanks Sean -beers on tap seem to be popular -nice wine selection by the glass with a French favorite so I was happy - we will return
We have been to tullulahs many times. This was a first where we had to wait more for our entrees to be served. Apparently the executive chef was out that night so things in the kitchen were not well organized as usual. We will go back but were definitely not as satisfied as we usually are.
Food was great as always. Lov coming here. Our server Sam was fabulous as she always is when we're lucky to get her table. Keep up creating these great meals.
The change of menu doesn't offer as many different selections. Although it appealed to my vegetarian diet, there were limited options for my meat eating husband besides the "meat for 2" option which would end up half being taken home.
The food was very good and they have a nice selection of cocktails. The only negative I have, is the beet salad was extremely tiny otherwise, everything was good.
This was a nice, quiet place to lunch with friends. We had the short ribs grilled cheese, the Banh Mi and the crab cake sandwiches. They all came with a generous salad. All the sandwiches were outstanding.
Overall, a great experience. We are never disappointed. The food is great and so unique. The drinks are exceptional.
Food and service was outstanding can't wait to come back
Great tapas and ambiance. Good selection of wine. Would go back
Excellent service and delicious food. Love that the menu changes by season. Can't wait to go back in the fall.
Great food, great service, great beer, great drinks.
The food was delicious, portion sizes were more than adequate, and the restaurant was clean as was the rest room.
This is my 4th or 5th time to Tallulah's, and once again it lived up to the highest standards. The menu is fun and changes with the season. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The food is fresh, flavorful, and SO yummy! Great meal!
It's within walking distance of my house. I was pleased with the reception I received, the food was good. And the staff was unobtrusive, which I liked.
Only problem was a restaurant with a similar name, in the same area, caused some confusion for my granddaughter/date.
Scheduled a reservation, showed up exactly on time only to be told the kitchen was closed after driving over. No explanation given.
I was excited to go try Tullulah's because I've heard good things about this place. I made a reservation and all thinking brunch Sunday was going to be a busy place. I got there, place barely had customers. We got sat in the back DARK room. I then proceed to order my drink and plate that I desired. I ordered Steak Frites and was super excited to get my food since at every other place I order this similar plate, its ALWAYS good. I get my food and I was so upset. To start off, french fries, a big piece of steak and a fried egg were served on a tiny little plate and everything on top of each other. The heat of the steak made the fries soggy as hell, the fried egg had so much oil dripping off of it and the steak was burnt on the outside but red on the inside after asking for well done. The waitress didn't bring me a STEAK knife to eat my steak with so I was struggling with a butter knife until I was finally brought out one thanks to me asking. I also had to ask for a bigger plate to move my food around without any of it falling on to the table. I finally decided I wasn't even going to bother so I asked for my check and they had the audacity to charge me for a plate of food I barely touched and definitely didn't want to take home. The waitress spoke to manager and they took it off my bill, rightfully so. Oh AND my mom had ordered Chicken and Waffles which was another big NO NO. Waffle was all burnt and tasted nasty. To add the cherry on top, as I was walking out, the waitress was talking to the cooks by the swinging door to the kitchen and they were all laughing. I hope it was all funny for them because it sure wasn't for me. Never AGAIN!
Had six items, fish tacos, ribs, hummus, rice balls, burratta and the chorizo. They were all amazing. I did pass out for like 2 hours after eating which makes me suspect there was some type of sedative or preservative in something probably the rice balls. Who knows. I will return. The cocktails are a little pricy 14 bucks is what you'd pay at a really fancy place not a slightly dull tapas place in Bayshore.
Great food fabulous service great ambiance will deffintely go back
I always have an enjoyable time here, my toddler always has a great time as well. The food is great and the cocktails are fantastic accept the last time I visited there was no honeydew melon cube in "The Honey Dew List." :(
It was amazing get together with friends after returning home from college and starting our careers. One friend moving to California and another to Pennsylvania, it was one last final hurrah for us to have an elegant meal together.
Went here for brunch, it wasn't great. Two of us got chicken and waffles, with a honey sriracha syrup. The chicken was so over fried it has no taste and you couldn't taste any spice in the syrup. The burger and fries had fries that looked beautiful but were almost soggy, not crispy how they looked. It was like they had been good at one point and then microwaved. The decor was very confusing and the huge picture of scared looking children was very disturbing and not at all nice to eat next to. With all of the new spots opening up around town, we won't be back to this one.
My favorite place! Great food, an outstanding craft beer list, great cocktails and fantastic service. You just can't miss.
Perfect as always.
Love, love, love the food here. It's served small plates but not small in my opinion. Came here on a date with my husband and we loved the food. Have I mentioned how great the food is? I got the lemon hummus he got the beet salad appetizer. For our main course I got the mussels and hubby got the short rib tacos very flavorful and yummy. Great service. We just love it t here!
Great service, great food and drinks. Defiantly a place to go back to again
Heard about this place but being that I am not in Bay Shore too much, haven't had a chance to go. Decided to try it one night and it was definitely worth it. Cool spot and the menu and food were so unique and tasty! Definitely will be back.
Great little addition to Bayshore.
Great draft beer selection. Otherwise bar limited to specialty drinks. Kitchen excellent, try the signature Gouda Mac, scrumptious.
Food was great as usual. We were seated in the front window which is not as nice as he dining room, but the brunch was great.
Excellent food served very quickly, and excellent service.
Went for a birthday lunch/brunch and left starving. Had the apple chicken salad -- neither apple chicken or goat cheese were present; any that was present were diced size. Additionally, this salad was so overdressed with oil, that I ate barely ate two fork fulls. Worst of all, when they took my plate away, no one even asked why I didn't eat it. When we first arrived, I ordered a glass of pino noir which tasted like some stale undefined drink but you definitely wouldn't call it wine! The waitress was nice enough to replace it with a more expensive glass without the added charge; improved - but not good, either.
The birthday girl ordered corned beef hash which was supposed to come with russet potatoes and corned beef. Instead she received two greasy sunny side up eggs which sat atop of only a spoonful of potatoes cut into diced size pieces. I asked her where/when the rest of her food would be served when I saw her plate. I cant ever remember having to pay $15 for two sunny side up eggs with nothing added!
Dessert -- another disaster! We ordered creme brulee (which is supposed to be the consistency of custard) which was a runny mess. Can't serve creme brulee unless you have given it enough time to set which they obviously did not.
Over priced; bad food. Huge disappointment :-(
