Wonderful service great food amazing night
Just a nice evening celebrating our 23rd anniversary. Food, atmosphere, and our waiter Alex were wonderful.
Great. Table assignment could have been better.
We enjoyed all of it. Wine by the glass was phenomenal and a very pleasant surprise to find such a tasty one. Food was made spicy as requested and that was an even better surprise! Usually restaurants skimp on the spice.. thanks Jose!
My experience at Truluck's was outstanding as always! I brought a colleague to thank her for her support on a special project. She had never been and was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance, the service and of course the food. Truluck's is tried and true - never lets me down. Thank you!
Excellent food, served with care. Great place to enjoy a meal while discussing business or anything else.
Had reservation Sunday night after the Cowboy game at 8 pm. Got there after the game with our game jerseys on. We’re informed we could not use dining room because of business casual dress code. Really, on game day. We were staying at Ritz Carlton and Were welcomed to Fearing’s Restaurant no problem. Will never go to Truluck’s again! Not aware of any fine dining restaurants not accepting Cowboy jersey apparel after a late game on Sunday.
Our waiter DJ was excellent. He went above & beyond to make our Anniversary special. Also want to thank the manager James for the personal, professional attention we received. We look forward to returning very soon
Our friends and us ate here whilst visiting Dallas on holiday. The food was nice but massively over priced. Our bill came to over $800 for 4 of us.
Definitely over priced. We wouldn’t eat there again.
My husband and I went to Truluck’s to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The food was impeccable with excellent and professional service. They decorated our table with fresh red rose petals and helped us celebrate with a complimentary dessert. Plus, there was live music which is not common.
We will definitely be back!
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The service was outstanding. I was very disappointed in the taste of the food; pretty bland. The spinach was overwhelmed by garlic with very little seasoning. We had the steak mushrooms and they were bland also. My husband had salmon and I had steak medallions... not impressed. The one thing that was delicious was the bread... soft, fluffy and hot.
The food was so good. Our waitress was very personable
Great food! Great service!! Loved it. Scallops were amazing!! Will definitely return.
I took my boyfriend out here for his birthday, and it was such a great experience! We will never forget it
Trulucks is a fantastic restaurant. Our server Mike was great. Very helpful with the menu and checked on us often. We'll be back.
Wonderful way to celebrate a birthday.... great wine, delicious food and a wait staff that pays attention to even the smallest details. Made for a memorable evening.
This dining experience was amazing. I took my wife for our anniversary and everything was perfect including the amazing service. The dinner menu is incredible and everything was cooked to perfection.
Outstanding service, food and Management. Perfect meal and atmosphere.
Excellent service and food. Will return!
Outstanding service!!! The entrees were cooked to perfection. I've eaten a lot of crabcakes, but Trulucks number one and Pierre Marpiso in New Orleans is now number 2.
I took my fiancé here this week for his birthday and I must say it was absolutely wonderful! Service was great and the food was incredible. My fiancé got the surf and turf and I got the pan seared scallops with a shared crab Mac n cheese (highly recommend!) and we were both blown away by the quality of the food. Our server even brought out a complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate with. We will definitely be going back.
Delicious food and great service. Trulucks is a great spot for lunch!
All food ordered was outstanding except for the Stone Crab claws. They were not flavorful and were overpriced. Our server was fabulous. For lunch, suggest you do the 3 course meal for $30. The best bargain.
The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet. The service was great and the server provided excellent recommendations.
We celebrated my 55th Birthday and I must say that the staff members were amazing. Our table was decorated with celebratory items, the food was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Highly recommend this establishment
I took my wife
Pretty mediocre food and service for high price. Creme Brûlée far from what it should be.
Trulucks provides a world class dining experience. Every dish I have tried has been exquisite. Staff provides a great dining experience and caters to your every want and need. If something is not to your liking, they will graciously correct it.
Outstanding food, tremendous service, and a fantastic atmosphere made this dining experience one of a kind. Our server, Mike, made my wife's birthday celebration dinner a night to remember. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys fine dining.
Our new go to place for FIVE star atmosphere, Service and food.
Starting with the host and Manager welcoming us, we were a little early for our reservation and they ask if we would like to go to the bar. It was busy on Saturday evening of course... we chose to stand and wait while listening to great live music.
One of the Managers ask what we would like to drink and went to the bar and got our drinks for us. When our table was ready we went up the stairs to be greeted by name again and shown to our table.
Michael was our server and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best!!!
The dessert tray looked so good, but we were both full from our great meals and Lobster bisque.
We may stop in just for dessert soon. We will be back for sure!!!
Food was wonderful but the service was super slow.
We celebrated the night of our engagement at Truluck’s. Though the proposal was held elsewhere, the staff made sure to make us feel just as special as if it had happened there. Every bit of this dinner was awesome.
Never disappointed here. I had the Bone-in Rib-eye and my wife had the Salmon Bernaise. Both were great. The Caesar salad and the Baked Alaska were also great. They even made my wife a cocktail that is no longer on the menu. Great service and great ambience.
Service was excellent, waiter took good care of us . I’ll be back
Best restaurant ever. Perfect romantic date night!
The food at Truluck’s was amazing! However, our server didn’t seem very thrilled about the servicing us.
Service was excellent.
The last three times we've dined here, the total experience has been wonderful. Great waitstaff, great food, great evening. This visit we had theater tickets and told our server we needed to be clear by 6:15 to 6:30. She made our meal and time commitment seem effortless. Given we've had superb dinners here each time we visit, I keep asking myself, "Why do we keep going to places we enjoy less than Truluck's?" Answer: Make Truluck's our "Go to" place when dining out in Big D!
Excellent service and food.
Our experience was isolated, but not good. I was meeting a new client for lunch and he ran a little late for our 1pm reservation. We were seated by 1:30, but waited until after 2pm to be asked about our order. Then we were told lunch ended at 2pm and we’d have the dinner menu. But the waiter decided to let us still have the lunch anyway. The food was fine, but took a while, especially with so few people in the dining room. Then my client found a hair in his food. The server immediately went to get him another, but it took around 20 minutes. The manager came by to tell us it would be a complimentary meal, as my steak was also cold after waiting for my clients food to come back. Cooking me a second steak would have been appropriate. Or, at least reheat mine a little. Overall, service was lacking from what I’ve experienced in Southlake, Austin, and the Woodlands locations.
