The informal and sociable neighbourhood dining atmosphere offers seating for up to 80 guests and is available for lunch, dinner, private dining, or exclusive hire. Trishna’s doors also open onto the street, creating a semi-alfresco ambience throughout the restaurant.
Amazing experience - from the moment we walked in the door we felt we were someplace special. Every bite I put in my mouth was incredible, and the mallard I will never forget. Highly recommend Trishna - go!!
Food as always was exceptional. Particularly recommend the Gongura Lamb, the dal and the kulcha bread. A lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced wines. Definitely a great place to dine with friends who appreciate good indian food.
One of the best meals I have experienced. Incredible food and service. We enjoyed the tasting meal with wine pairings for an evening to be savored. I liked how each food item and glass of wine was explained, and that we had time to enjoy each course without ever being rushed.
Awesome: Haryali Bream, Tandoori Salmon
Good: Aloo Tikki Chaat,
Average: Kozhikode Chicken
Poor: Wild Boar Biryani
Better than average food at very high prices. Avoid the Biryani - meat (wild boar) was dry and hard and spoilt an otherwise decent biryani. Kozhikode chicken is pedestrian/average at best, avoid.
We had a reservation but when we got to restaurant had some difficulty being seated as the host said they could not find the reservation despite showing the confirmation email. We were eventually seated. Food and staff otherwise were good.
The food and service were excellent. The team very nice and responsive. We will go back. The one complaint is that the menu tours “fresh pressed today pomegranate juice” for £6. We love pomegranate so we ordered. It was not fresh pressed. It was sugary sweet not tart like true pomegranate juice. This was disappointing and not worthy of this otherwise excellent restaurant.
If you like servers that hover and rush you through your meal, Trishna is the place to go. Otherwise, there are many other restaurants in London that offer better service and tasty food.
Very good experience. Very nice and friendly staff.
Will come back definitely.
Thanks to all
Service team while friendly, was slow on service. Food however was the worst We’ve had and this is not the first indian cuisine we’ve tried.
80% of the entrees served were heavy handed on salt. For the maître d to tell us it is seafood and therefore leans naturally on salty, explains the lackluster quality here.
I usually have no issues with spicy food and eat it regularly.
Trishna, one star Michelin, one of the best Indian restaurant in london. .....but food was way too hot (not talking about spices). It is too hot that you can barely appreciate the flavours and other spices.
Service was not great either : had to wait till the (needed to cool off) bread basket. As well the the lassie which never came.
Waitress was very nice and smiley but not efficient.
When we arrived at the restaurant we were informed that we did not have a booking I showed the confirmation from OpenTable - he said that the booking was not confirmed and there were no tables this went on for 10 minutes in front of the other dinners totally embarrassing suddenly he said that he had found our booking and it was not until the 26th June I said impossible the booking was made for the 26th May as he could see on the OpenTable app the booking was for the 24th May after further conversation he said that he was taking great risk but would give us a table. I have used the Open-table app for many years in London and New York and never had an issue ... unfortunately, Trisha has issues with when booking your table.
Thank you for making our first date magical, I would probably fall asleep dreaming about that crab curry tonight
Superb experience. Delicious food. Excellent service. We felt so welcome and comfortable. We will go back again for sure!
Amazing little intimate place, service was absolutely brilliant. Very attentive staff with some of the best food. The lamb chops here are unreal! It's a must!!!
Birthday Celebrations
We had a wonderful culinary experience, immaculate service, wonderful food from the tasting menu with exceptional vegetarian items. All dishes were served in perfect portions.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in London. Great lunch tasting menu.
We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. The portions were large and extremely tasty. Can't wait to go back!
Disclaimer - I'm vegetarian
Ambiance and service are good, but the price is very high for what I would consider above average food (poor value).
Wonderful food atmosphere and service, highly recommended.
Fantastic Service & Fabulous Food = Fantabulous !
I had booked this restaurant for my Parents' 56th Wedding Anniversary. As I enjoy Fine Indian Dining, Trishna was on my list of restaurants yet to be visited.
I think this has been one of the best visits I have ever had a at a restaurant.
Everything was faultless ! The visit was FANTABULOUS !
I had called ahead with regards to certain food allergies. Upon arrival, Swapnil the manager escorted us to the table, and when i asked about the allergies, he assured me that everything was in place, and for me to enjoy the service. Wow what a start !
EVERY member of staff were friendly, accommodating, attentive and always on the ball. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Anjana, was our main server. She was absolutely brilliant, and made our visit a complete pleasure. Thank you Anjana.
The service received by us from her and all her colleagues, made us all feel extremely happy that we had made the right choice.
The food choice was impressive, and I think we got a little carried away. Every item and dish we ordered was extremely well presented, perfectly tasty, superbly cooked and satisfying.
This restaurant is a great team effort from the management, serving professionals and kitchen team. Credit to all !
This restaurant deserves all credit. 11/10 from me !
The food itself was so disappointing, especially for the price. Was expecting so much better from a Michelin starred restaurant. I was actually quite shocked. I didn’t even eat half my main. My friends left a lot of their food too. Dry briyani, saag that tasted overpoweringly of garlic powder, and the daal that was average. Salmon tikka tasted of nothing. Chaat was hot when it would’ve been better and more authentic cold. Bill was full of mistakes. Not a winner. Thank you, next.
Food was good but over priced.
The most expensive glass of wine I've ever had. (Order by the bottle.) Okay, that out of the way, the ambiance is quite nice, the service is first rate, and the food is the best Indian cuisine we've had (and my wife has been to Mumbai). If we were locals, we would dine here regularly.
Birthday meal
Great food and selection, very good tasting menu and 7 course was really filling. Defintley recommend a visit!
Fabulous food,fabulous staff
excellent restaurant, from service to experience and quality of food.
Excelent! Great food and wine list! Service so kindly!
Trisha is our favorite restaurant in Marylebone and never disappoints. The tastes are great and unique and the staff is helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend it.
Trop cher pour la qualité de la nourriture / il doit avoir à Londres d autres restaurants indien qui offre plus de subtilités dans les plats
Good food though not as good as the last time I was there. Was deeply irritated with the service and tone of the staff though.
Had the tasting menu. Everything was fantastic.
Overall good food though a bit too spicy hot for our tastes. We ordered two 5 course tasting and one 7 course tasting and found we had too much food for the three of us. Service wad good and atmosphere nice too.
Service was incredible and the pace was nice and relaxing
Excellent food as always. The set lunch is great value for money
日本人が珍しく美味しく感じるブリティッシュ。家庭料理っぽいので大変気に入ってます。赴任後、一番通っているお店です。ワインもなかなか。お手頃の値段で食事に合います。
When I knew I would be visiting London on my birthday, I asked around for the best high end Indian in London. Trishna's was the consensus pick and it did not disappoint. Trishna's has a wonderful selection of gins and gin drinks; I chose a Monkey 47 gin and tonic with cucumber. As we were enjoying our cocktails we decided to go for the tasting menu as we found we could not possibly chose among so many enticing dishes. The tasting menu was perfectly sequenced and every course was a dream come true. Unlike the sometimes ponderous NYC restaurants that offer tasting menus, Trishna's had a lively, casual yet upscale vibe which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Being an Indian myself who is RARELY ever impressed with Indian restaurants and obviously favoring home cooked Indian food, the food at Trishna pleasantly surprised me! The cocktail menu was incredibly clever (even though the cocktail had was rather strong and medicinal tasting), the food was delicious and went down like a treat.
I will definitely be coming back again for more and perhaps order a different cocktail next time(!)
Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Really really exceptional! Will be coming back the next time I’m in London!
